Edit from 3 yrs ago- unsanitary. They were the very Best grilled fish burritos, almost to die for. So were the fajita fish tacos and the poke bowl, delicious. Was never a big fan of poke until I had this one. Not a fancy place, Except this year - 3 years after we started going here, we went in and saw a black dog running around licking up food from the floor and jumping on everyone. The dog then disappeared into the kitchen. Totally unacceptable and unsanitary. No raw fish or open kitchen should have animals running around. Completely unsanitary and Sad to see the demise of this formerly delicious place. When we asked why there was a rogue dog running around eating everything, an older woman came out and put her hand up to stop us from talking. She explained the dog was “an emotional support dog” for one of the workers because of the Maui fires. We are not cold or unreasonable people, but we said we re sorry this is not a trained specialty dog, it’s unsanitary to allow this. She then started yelling at us, and repeated “we re really sorry our town burned down for y’all” I was stunned anyone would ever use this as an excuse to skirt laws that are in place to protect the public. This woman was not a native but a very angry old white woman with little class. We apologized to the young cashier and left as the old lady kept yelling “you know it’s not our fault our town burned down!” Sadly we reported her to the Maui health department. What a terrible...

Roomy shop with 2 areas: cooked fish (grilled and fried) and fresh fish (poke and slabs). We ordered cooked food as takeout. Many minutes of deliberations as the menu had many options looked super tasty. Most of the options are either deep fried or grilled.

Fish and chips: 3 solid pieces of fish and a handful of salted fries. Tartar sauce and ketchup included. We probably should have eaten at the shop, there are 3 two seater tables out front. The fries were a bit cold when we made it back to our hotel (no microwave).

Seafood special: a slab of grilled white fish (forgot to ask what the special was today), 2 shrimp, and a scallop with a scoop of rice and Mac salad + coconut curry on the side. Pineapple salsa on the fish. I was glad the curry was on the side as the flavor was too sweet for me. Scallop was very tender, shrimp were not overcooked.

There were some slices of cheesecake and chia seed pudding in the fridge along with soft drinks.

The fresh fish display is beautifully set up with rectangle blocks of fish and large containers of various poke.

I'm glad we found this fish shop for a meal, it was fairly quick takeout before general dinner hour. Would recommend calling in an order if it is a large one to minimize the wait. Shopping center parking has a limit of 1 hr.

Same shopping strip has Venezuelan food if your group is looking for gluten free or...

Delicious fresh food, wonderful staff, and very reasonable prices!

Located at 3600 Lower Honoapiilani Road, the small market sits on the end of a strip mall. Offering tacos, burritos, poke, fish burgers, chowder, lobster, crab, shrimp, and so much more, this place is a Maui gem!

Once inside, there are two order counters. The left side is for fresh prepared food and on the right is for fresh caught seafood and more. You can dine in or carry out. Seating is very limited inside and cramped but there are also a few tables outside to dine at. Once an order is placed, you will be given a number and staff will either bring you your takeout or serve you where you are seated.

This place was so good that it was the only place we ate at twice! Once for dining in and once for takeout. My fish burritos and wife's fish tacos were outstanding! The burrito has generous amounts of delicious fresh caught fish rolled in a warm flour tortilla with lettuce, cabbage, cheddar, and house chipotle cream sauce. It was served with homemade tortilla chips and pico de gallo. My wife got the two fish taco plate with rice and macaroni salad. Price $30 for both.

I highly recommend this place. It is nothing fancy and gets very busy at times, but it's a true testament to how wonderful this place is. The staff work fast and the wait...

#Maui | Must-Try Food on Maui Everyone says Maui doesn’t have particularly outstanding restaurants, and it definitely can’t compare to Honolulu. But we still managed to find some delicious eats! 1. **Roadside BBQ Stand on the Road to Hana** A smoky aroma made us pull over—apparently, we weren’t the only ones! For $20, we got a plate with Hawaiian-style Huli Huli Chicken (so good we had it three out of four days in Maui—second time at a weekend-only Kihei roadside stall), grilled pork, roasted bananas, and rice. Huge portions and totally satisfying. 2. **Coconut Glen’s Coconut Ice Cream** Went for the original flavor—rich coconut oil taste, not too sweet. Perfect with a snap of my husband’s Daytona. 👻 3. **Kihei Cafe** Our Airbnb host’s rec. Spotted a long line at 8 AM on day one, so I went back at 6 AM the next day to grab breakfast for us. The Loco Moco (with fried rice) tasted just like home-style fried rice with an egg—apparently a Hawaiian classic, likely brought over by Asian immigrants. No wonder it hit the spot! 4. **Maui Pineapple Store (Lahaina)** Spotted this place while driving. Their pineapple "ice cream" is just frozen blended pineapple—no added sugar or cream. Slight tang, but still a win. 5. **Fish Market Maui** A hotspot for locals and tourists alike. Super fresh seafood. 6. **Lineage (Wailea Shopping Center)** A must-visit. Their Huli Huli Chicken is insanely juicy (pricey but worth it). The Hawaiian-style char siu had me hooked, and the pork knuckle looked amazing—too bad we were stuffed. 7. **Humble Market Kitchin** Booked for sunset—views are unbeatable. Went for the lamb chops (massive portion, highly recommend) and Mahi Mahi (good, but Fish Market’s was better). 8. **Da Kitchen** No photo, but a tourist staple. Their fried Spam musubi is iconic, and the stir-fried noodles? Proof that Hawaiian food is basically Asian fusion. P.S. Roadside fruit prices are wild—might as well wait till we’re back home. 👻 #MauiEats #HawaiianFood #FoodieTravel #RoadToHana #IslandVibes #TravelGram
