McDonald's — Restaurant in McComb

I went to McDonald's today, Nov 20, 2023, at the Edgewood Mall location. I ordered on my app. Quarter Pounder with Cheese, 10 piece McNuggets, and 4 large Sweet Teas no ice. The young lady that brought my food was very nice and had the order right.

The problem was that the teas were so weak you could see thru it. I think they had these fixed for someone else, and the ice had melted, or some employee didn't know how to make the teas. It was so weak it didn't even taste like tea.

l always buy tea at McDonald's because they have the best tea. I have never seen it look like that. It had no taste.

Then, the Quarter Pounder is supposed to have mustard, ketchup, pickles, and onion. Well, the two pickles were limp and tasted weird. The onion was dried up all 5 strips were also green they were not edible, there was no mustard at all, there was a quarter size spot of ketchup which had been so small the burnt bun that was so dry it had just a little redness to see that they did put it on there. The meat was extremely overcooked hard on the edges. And the meat was all to one side of the bun. I had to put it all together myself.

McDonald's is a great place to gather with friends and family for eating and visiting. I guess due to the remodeling and changing food prices, their prices are a little higher; but the food is really good. My personal favorite is the buttermilk chicken tenders...yum, yum! The best drink for your buck, is large size...either tea or soft drink...the large size is $1;. Check out the medium price and you pay about $1.47 ,plus tax! I don't advocate and wastefulness...but in this incidence...it only makes bsense to go with the large size, so much cheaper! Even if you can't drink it all, you can refrigerate it and drink it later, especially tea.. it's even good the next day! If your soft drink is drank later in the day, it will still be good... overnight not so good.. pour it out...at least you got your money's worth! They have several new items on their menu,so if you haven't been in a while... check it out. You will be pleased...

I don’t typically share my fast food experiences with the internet, but I will definitely make an exception for my experience on the evening of 08/30/25 around 11:00 PM.

It’s late Saturday night—they’re slammed and hard at work. And I’m expecting what I would call the standard service for a night like tonight—not exactly rude, but short-quick, take your food, and ask for nothing more-kind of service. Obviously, that’s not what I got. Instead, I was greeted with kindness and enthusiasm, as well as understanding when I needed to adjust my mobile order by adding to it I was greeted with smiles and a sense of urgency to complete my order and do so correctly.

Their service really stood out. And to say the least I left with a smile not just because I had my food and had it right, but also because of the attitude of the employees working there tonight. Good job,...
