Cookie Plug — Restaurant in Medford

Update: My work ordered these today...an entire department stood around discussing them. No one had anything very good to say, eveyone marveled at the grit (my cowoker said the sprinkle cookie was okay because you were too distracted by sheer number of sprinkles) and one woman chewed for a min, trying to put her finger on the flavor before exclaiming "it tastes like RAW DOUGH!" and we all laughed and groaned with others nodding in agreement. Not a good impression, can't believe you're in business.

OriginalGot 12 for $12 mini cookies last night and they all taste the same? I ate the smores one, thought "huh, thats an odd flavor and gritty texture but okay" then I ate the purple one and it was the same. By the 4th cookie (just taking bites at this point) I was flabbergasted. I tried them all-not a single cookie tasted unique and you can't escape the intense DOUGH flavor. If they weren't so dry I'd have wondered if they were actually baked. And why WHY are they gritty!? To be fair I don't consider crumbl to be edible either but these are BAD bad.

Cookie Plug is hands down my go-to spot for the best cookies in town! First off, the s’mores cookie is an absolute game-changer…so gooey and perfectly indulgent, it's a must-try. The cookies & cream cookie is right up there as my all-time favorite…crispy on the outside, soft and decadent on the inside. Their snickerdoodle? A little harder but still packed with that nostalgic flavor that keeps me coming back. And don't sleep on the peanut butter chocolate chip…it's my fourth pick but a solid one when you’re craving that perfect balance of peanut butter and chocolate.

Pro tip: get them heated up! I requested mine warmed, and the team was so awesome and friendly, making the experience even better. I even got to meet the owner, and his vibe is just as amazing as the cookies themselves. The atmosphere is so fun, hip-hop-inspired, and buzzing with energy. I went on opening day and it was very busy so I’ll attribute it to that, and the fact that everyone there is new, but… the cookies weren’t that good. They were bland and while nice and soft on the inside the outsides were way too hard. I tried all 12 flavors and none stood out. Cookies n cream wasn’t bad, just tasted like Oreos. Also I kept asking about the details on the two deals that day and unfortunately it wasn’t explained well enough and I ended up feeling rushed and didn’t get what I expected. I tried to ask for clarification several times too, to two different employees.

Also, I tried to leave a comment on a post on Facebook explaining this, for constructive feedback’s sake, not to dog on anyone.. but it was deleted! That’s not a great look.
