MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Medford

Come here all the time with my daughter. Came in today to order a cheese pizza and this lady w a brown Carhartt beanie and a little green necklace was extremely rude to me for zero reason . Went up to the register she rudely informed me I needed to be on the other side of the line . I pleaded I just warned a cheese pizza , which she replied “ i gotta couple of questions for you big dog” extremly rude with some sassy little attitude. All I did was try and order a cheese pizza for my daughter lmao . I then go over there and immediately am hit with the same bs after she asked her completely “necessary” questions which she made made go to the other side of the room for when literally no one was in there. She then ended each question with “Boss man” . I’ve been in many different industries and this is just completely unprofessional and disrespectful anywhere you go. Treat people like that and you’ll get no where in life even as a pizza chef, so it was very sad to experience. I feel bad for whoever that was and if my friend was still the manager I’d inquire them to have said talk with said person. Made. Me very uncomfortable and honestly nauseated with discomfort like I did somthing wrong 😂. Tonight has been a rough night. We were traveling as fast as we could from Klamath Falls, Oregon to Weed/Gazelle California to help our family evacuate from the surrounding fires. It was 10:30 pm and we knew we needed to get something quick. Mod Pizza was open, thank the lord above. When I walked in, I didn't want to order if they were prepping the close up, but they ensured me I had time. They asked how my day was, I explained the situation. Immediately the amazing young men gave me their apologies for my family's situation. One of them stepped aside and whispered in his managers ear and came back with the sweetest smile & said " these two pizzas are on us" OH MY GOSH!! Not at all what I was expecting nor would ever ask for. The compassion from this team of young men filled my heart. The manager shared that he knew personally what its like. He was in the same situation last year. He gave us our pizza and drinks tonight, and even a giftcard for another visit. We don't normally come into Medford to eat, just shop at Costco, but when we do come back to shop, we will always eat at THIS MOD pizza from here on out! Mod Pizza really sucked! Got there with 3 customers ahead of us in line. By the time it was our turn to order and have our pizza made they had made about 10 other pizzas besides the pizzas they had made for the customers ahead of us. Therefor making us wait for a good 45 minutes. I asked how did all of those other pizzas get made before ours because we've been standing in line a very long time for just a few customers ahead of us and we should have been helped along time ago. We were told all those other pizzas we had to wait for ahead of us was internet orders that were put ahead of our order and we were there in person standing and waiting and waiting and waiting... So I take it our in person, standing in line takes no persents there. I will not go there again unless I sit in the parking lot and make my order (online) so I'm not standing and standing in line while other online orders are taking priority to ours. Now thats not being fair to those who were in the same position as I was in. This is ran very, VERY unfairly!
