Sid's Gourmet Smoke N Grill — Restaurant in Medford

Went in as a first time customer with my partner and our daughter. Hubby has been there before and couldn’t stop praising, so had to check it out. We ordered online through their square platform and it was very user friendly! Amazing service from the very first interaction. Sid came out and greeted us in our car - acknowledged our order and thanked us. Afterwards we shared a great conversation with his wife while Sid worked his magic. They are both super down to earth and welcoming. Made us feel like we’re all just old friends. To top it off, Sid offered us a complimentary frozen pop - let me tell you! Finger licking good. We tried the blueberry cream and wow. Beyond tasty. Our little one was devouring the actual stick once the pop was all gone. Now to the good stuff… we ordered their fried rice with pork belly, Mac n cheese w meatballs, Philly cheesesteak w brisket, the chowder and lemonade. O M G - I was speechless. One of those meals where you don’t share very many words because you are just salivating every single bite. The pork belly just melted in our mouths! Every single bite of every dish was impeccable and traveled so well since we didn’t stay and eat. Although they have an adorable quaint outdoor seating space.

This was our first time trying Sid's and we were very happy! We wanted to get something to eat but it was getting a bit late, so we happened upon Sid's in a Google search. Open until 10pm... yes please!

We ordered ahead and went for a drive across town to pick it up. The location is a tad sketchy on the south west side of town, but we never felt unsafe. The owner was cooking in this little adorable airstream trailer turned into a food truck.

Everything was clean and tidy, the stainless steel was shining! The other thing we noticed right away was the fantastic smell emanating from the ordering window! Smokey, spicy, meaty and aromatic!

We ordered several different items including, brisket sandwich, brisket fried rice, brisket mac meatball Mac and chicken mac and cheese. To wash it all down we ordered the OMGinger drinks.

The food was nothing short of spectacular! Flavorful, fresh and tasty food was presented in nice Togo containers. The drinks were spicy and had that flavor of another land. All in all a very enjoyable and filling meal.

My fiancé is a DoorDash driver. We hadn't heard of Sid's before he had to pick up an order from here. He wouldn't stop talking about how good it smelled until we got some for ourselves. We got the smoked chicken cheesesteak sandwich and the pork belly Mac and cheese. It was cold outside so he told us to go warm up in the car and that it would be brought out to us. Talk about customer service! The food was brought out quickly and smelled so amazing we only rounded the corner before giving in and pulling over to try a bite. If it hadn't been so hot, we would have devoured it all then and there. Got home 20 minutes later and it was STILL hot!

Y'all have got customers for life from us! We have decided to turn your menu into a checklist and come every two weeks until we try everything! Absolutely amazing! We will be singing your praises to everyone we know.
