Taste of Bosnia offers a charming and authentic dining experience that blends warmth, simplicity, and cultural flavor. Upon entering, one places their order directly at the counter—an informal touch that underscores the casual, homegrown feel of the establishment. The individuals running the restaurant are exceptionally gracious, offering friendly service and sincere hospitality that is increasingly rare in today’s fast-paced food scene. The menu presents a satisfying array of traditional Bosnian fare, and I was particularly pleased with the quality and heartiness of the cabbage rolls. They were well-prepared, flavorful, and accompanied by sides that complemented them perfectly. While the cuisine is simple, it is executed with care and respect for tradition. A particularly delightful surprise was the availability of Spezi—a cola-orange soda blend that’s a nostalgic favorite for those familiar with Central European beverages. Its presence on the menu demonstrated thoughtful curation and an attention to detail that I greatly appreciated. Though the setting is modest and the format informal, the food and service elevate the overall experience. Taste of Bosnia is a solid choice for anyone seeking comfort food with cultural depth, served with kindness and pride. I look forward to returning.

Wow! First off, this was my first actual experience of Bosnian cuisine. Many of our office rank Taste of Bosnia as the BEST in the area and they definitely set the bar! As a group, we ordered the Sarme (cabbage rolls), Mjesano Meso (meat platter), Buffalo Chicken, Kupus salata (cabbage salad) & Jahnija (stew). Everyone devoured their food. I had the cabbage rolls, and they are delectable! Filled with a finely minced meat, saurkraut then covered in a sauce, I was blown away by the balance of flavors. The thick & moist scoop of mashed potatoes was perfect to mix with the meal. All meals came with thick, fresh bread which was a nice treat & sour cream to spread on it. The restaurant was sparking clean with a warm, welcoming interior. I was surprised to find out the restaurant isn't brand new, as every single space is immaculate and well decorated. The service was excellent as well. The lady at the counter was super polite asking if I've been here before, then welcomed me as a guest. I cannot wait to try the whole menu. If you want authentic Bosnian cuisine, then this is an absolute must. If you want to feel comfortable & full with savory delicious food in a welcoming welcoming environment then DEFINITELY come here. I will be back with my family!

this was my first time to be introduced to Bosnian food.... and you know what they say "It's better later than never". even though my visit this time was for a menu photoshoot, i ordered from them the following week. other than the fact everything tasted good, one thing the food had in common is that it was on the salty side. food is flavorful. Starting with the Burek which is baked to order, to the Jahnija "Traditional beef and lamb stew served with bread and mashed potatoes" which you can also eat with their white rice. Have to also mention the huge sandwiches on their menu"Each could be enough for 2" the Buffalo Chicken sandwich (Grilled chicken breast served in traditional Bosnian flatbread (lepinja), topped with buffalo sauce, lettuce and cheese) a great fusion. another would be Cevapi (Grilled minced sausages in traditional Bosnian flatbread (lepinja), served with fresh onions and homemade creamy spread) other than the extra salt they had in the food "Which i would make sure they know about next time i go there" everything was great... High recommendation. you won't regret it.

Taste of Bosnia is a bijou establishment that’s cozy and stylized with a modern atmosphere. You might not notice this eatery upon driving by if you don’t have hungry eyes like myself, craving the best cuisine the county has to offer. Living only 5 minutes away, I had passed this restaurant by numerous of times and was always curious to give it a go. I finally found the gumption to do so and I’m exceedingly glad I did. Upon walking in I was greeted with a smile and the rich aroma of Bosnian fare wafting through a window that led to the kitchen. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever walked into. The tables were shining, floors freshly mopped. I went ahead and ordered the cevapi and the dohner sandwich. My daughter, a picky eater, got a cheeseburger and ate the entire sandwich. All of the things we ordered was made with or accompanied with their amazing fresh baked bread. I can confidently say that the owners picked the perfect name for their restaurant. Upon first bite, I closed my eyes and my tastebuds transported me and took me on a tour of the streets of bosnia, a place I might not ever be able to visit, but I feel as though this is a perfect representation of the delicious food I would Receive there. I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try. It’s not a money hungry chain that’s just popping out plates of half cooked food to get you in and out of the door. This food is made with heart and soul, with integrity. The chefs want you to experience their culture and share it with you. Foods they grew up eating and fell in love with. Do yourself a favor and stop on by and treat your belly to something beautiful, at a restaurant where the owners and workers treat you...
