I am EXTREMELY disappointed with Jason's Deli!! Firstly, I would like to start out by saying that I never leave reviews. If you did wonderful then thank you, if I am not pleased then oh well.. For me to be taking time out of my day to stress my disappointment only tells how upset I am. I placed an order while at work with a co-worker of mine. The employee over the phone told us that it would take 45 min to an hour to be delivered ( No problem with me). I placed the order at 8:00 and they gave me a time of 8:45-9:00. Around 9:05 I hadn't heard from them so I thought I'd give them a ring. ( I admint 5 min wasn't much, but it's already been an hour) Before I pick up the phone they finally call me saying that they are outside... At work I only get 30 minutes for lunch so I clock out and proceed to go pick up my food.... As I walk up from, and then OUTSIDE... I notice that no one is there... I wait for a few and start to get upset once I notice that no one is here. I called them and they state that the drive should be there...It's been 10 minutes already (10 minutes left on lunch). The drive finally calls and guess what.. he's LOST! I will spare you the story, but basically it takes him 25 minutes to find which means I only have 5 minutes to eat lunch.....I call and stress my inconvenience to the store and they couldn't absolutely care any less. Not only will I not get to eat my food... THEY DON'T CARE, they only wanted my money... I check my bank account like I always do and they OVER CHARGED ME BY $2.00... Now to many people that may not be much, but to me it is mine! Did I express how rude the lady and man on the phone was? Just terrible service!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER...
Read moreI placed an order for an meeting I was having. A few constituents where late placing their order. I called the store and spoke with Danielle and ask could I place another order to go with that order. She said yes but that would push my first order back. No problem the 1st order was suppose to be delivered at 11: 30am. She said 12 or 12:30 no problem I understand I told her. It was 10:51am. At 12 my meeting had started and we had no lunch I advised everyone the food would be a little late so we started the meeting. 12:30pm I started calling Jason Deli. I called 15 times before I realized they must have caller ID. I called from my personal phone and after the 3rd call Danielle answered the phone again. I told who I was and what was wrong. She knew who I was and said the order was on the way the driver left 15minutes ago. I said 1:30pm she said I told you it was gonna be late. I said you said 12:30pm. She said in a hurry it's coming! Ridgeway is literally 20 minutes away from my job. The driver arrived 15 minutes later. Upon looking at the receipt I was charged for sodas we didn't receive and I was double charged 17.05 for tip, 17.05 for delivery tip, and 7.00 Jason delivery fee. When I called back to ask why? Of course no-one answered my called. I waited until later around 4:30pm to call back. I spoke to Rob who was a new manager. He said he had to consult with another manager whom he had to call. He ask me to call back in 10 minutes. I did and guess what no answer. I order meals all the time for my meeting and this has never happened. Read more1 - It is DARK in the restaurant...in the middle of the day. 2 - I stood at what I realized was the "wrong" register for 3 minutes waiting to order...they never told me. I saw another person go to the "right" register to order. 3 - My companion had a rueben sandwich - cost $15.05 (pretax) with a few chips and a pickle. Jason's Deli is basically an upscale fast food place. $15.05 for a sandwich. 4 - The salad bar is $13.29 (pretax)...and when I returned and asked for a second bowl to try a couple of the pre-made sides/salads, I learned it is a ONE-TRIP salad bar. The size and shape of the bowl is very average (not large)...never would have thought I only got one serving. $13.29. 5 - When I asked the manager, who happend to be standing nearby, if it was accurate I only got one serving, he told me "yes, it's been that way since COVID." Which, in my view, has NO BEARING on ONE SERVING FOR $13.39. 6 - The food was good. 7 - They also have a recommended 20% suggested tip built into your credit card checkout when you first order...for handing you a bowl and cup.
The prices, the attitude of the manager, the lack of motivation/help from the employees, feeling like a dungeon...I recommend you find another place. It is easy to find MORE good food and much better service and atmosphere...
