Drive thru speaker broken to the point it looked inoperable. Charged $1.70 more than on menu, diet coke had little to no syrup carbonated water. Fries were cold. I WILL SAY STAFF refunded the difference when I pointed it out and got me a substitute drink. I called Wendy's Corporation. The customer service was Negstive zero, wait, hung up.
In general the outside of store (never went inside) is run down. Asphalt is in poor shape, dirty. It just has a feeling of not being clean. This is an older store and needs to be renovated.
I will say the store manager called me promptly next day, and I was offered a replacement meal. She also told me what happened to drive thru speaker., damaged by a city vehicle.
Went back the following day. The speaker was still broken but looked better with temporary repair. Food was OK, but unbelievably, the diet coke was still carbonated water. I did not say anything about drink because I drove off. The Pub burger on roll was good. Fries were better.
This, store and frankly all Wendy's in the area have issues. Not sure what happened to Wendy's. They use to be premium fast food. They charge a premium, and quality is just OK, service is spotty. Sometimes people take your order at the drive through and sometimes they simply never acknowledge you are there! I sat in line for 10 mins straight and no one acknowledged me, until I said Hello. We wanted to order $5 Biggie Bags but the cashier said not available, even though they were advertised on the large menu behind him. Our order ended up being rang up incorrectly, and we were definitely overcharged. We ordered a baconator combo, jr bacon cheeseburger, jr. cheeseburger, and jr cheeseburger combo which he totaled at $32.97. How?
