If I could give this place a 0 stars🌟 I would, I called and make reservations for the 21th-23rd of September. Usually when I you make reservations for a hotel room ahead of time. They just get your card information and when you show up to the front dress that's when they get the money off your credit card. I made the reservations for the 21th of September. Today's date is the 29th of August they took my money off my card today. Usually when you make reservations when they get your credit card information. They just hold on to it, until the day that you check in at the front desks. They took $232 dollars out of my bank account today. I am very highly angry 😡 I plan on reporting this hotel to the BBB. When I called them back they treated me very rudely acting like they didn't want to talk to me, because I wanted my money back and I also canceled the reservation to. I'm ⚠️ warning everyone about this Hotel do not give them your credit card information, because they will do the same to you. If you plan on going to this Jaked up hotel check in the day of so this want happen to you. I will never ever make anymore reservations with the bogus hotel ever again. And they better return my money back to my account ASAP and I mean it. The date 9/01/25 I just off the phone with the most rudest man that I have ever talked to. I am so angry, the guy that I just talked to said that he doesn't have a manager. He is so rude and down right degrading. This business should be closed down. At 6069 Macon Cove in Memphis,TN. I will never ever book any reservations at this Hotel ever, ever again in Memphis or out of Memphis tn. This worker that booked, My reservations should be criminally investigated. Taking people money out people accounts without explaining that they gonna take your money the same day. I made another hotel reservation at another Hotel, they got my credit card information and did not touch my money period. When me and my husband check in that's when they will remove my money from my account. This hotel is very bogus before they remove my money from my account, he should have explained everything to me before that they removed my money from my account. If I don't get my money back that they remove from my account by this Friday. I' am going to dispute it with my bank , until I receive all of my $232 dollars back in my account. I should have never ever made any reservations with this bogus disgusting hotel with disgusting 🫣 worker that they got working behind that desk. I don't want to talk to no one else at this hotel. I just want my $232 dollars back into my account. And that's on period. Today is September the 4th now these people deduct $232 dollars out of my bank account. These people don't want to give me all of my money bank. They only trying to give me back $116 dollars instead of my whole $232 dollars that they took out. I'm warning any one that reads this review about these disgusting people hotel. Don't waste your time check in at another hotel, but be sure you read the reviews before you check any where. Do not give these people your card information because they will do the same...
Read moreMy roommates and I are in the process of moving, and the house we were signing for was a few days gap between our current residence and the new one, so we had to stay at a hotel. There is 3 of us, all adults, and 2 well behaved cats. We originally booked for 4 nights, but due to the house move in date being pushed back(which was incredibly stressful and all of us were already in a high stress time due to move) we extended our stay twice to be 12 nights in total. On the 9th night our AC went out in our room, and we had to switch rooms, wasn't too big of a deal just a bit frustrated since the room was a swamp and 80+ degrees.
On the 10th day when we went to extend for the last two nights we needed before move in, they told us one of us needed to leave since we had 3 people and 2 pets. We were all incredibly confused because we had checked in as all three of us and 2 pets and they had no problem. As well as had booked directly on their website which offered us the two double bed room.
We were frantically struggling to figure out what to do because with the stress of the house extending move date we were already short on funds and couldn't afford another whole room. One of us was at work, and I'm the only one with a car so I am everyone's ride, and one works from home. We were so stressed trying to figure this out, it was a horrible experience.
I don't think any hotel should kick one of the people out with no other options really, when they were originally checked in that way. I managed to find a place with a friend not too far away, but it still added a bunch of time and gas money to my trips to take my roommate to work and also go to my own work, which is extremely inconvenient and costly.
They had also told us when we finally figured things out that we would be required to take a room service (housekeeping cleaning a bit) the following day, even though my one roommate(the one who works from home) had meetings all day and couldn't leave our cats alone due to them being anxious, they didn't give us any solutions to that and just said it was required.
On top of all this, they said whoever ended up leaving couldn't go up to the room anymore. I asked about their guest policy and they said yes you can have guests, but apparently they couldn't trust us enough to believe that we would have one of us leave, since they didn't want to monitor cameras, even though there were cameras all down the hall and almost directly at our door. This was incredibly upsetting because my cat is still there and he has separation anxiety and I feel so bad to leave him but we had no other choice. I still won't see him for another day.
Thankfully we did manage to find somewhere for me to stay but had we not I dont know what would have happened, no one else had any options.
All in all most of the front desk staff were very nice and sweet, but this was a horrible experience and I would never recommend this place to people with pets, or just in general because this is how management treats people who...
Read moreSo the only good thing I have to say about the hotel is that there was hot water and the room seemed to be clean. I will start with arriving. There was no one at the front desk and a group of men sitting around near it, like they may work there, wasn't sure. One got up after me standing there for 3-4 minutes... (No bell or anything) While the lady at the counter was nice she mentioned that I had booked handicap accessible room to which I replied I did not mean to and was fine with another room as long as it was still a king bed that I paid for. For some reason she felt the need to bring up my mistake 4 times in the check in process. After finally getting our keys we made it to our room. First thing I noticed was there was some sort of stain on the elevator doors and in the elevator. Once in the room, we noticed the toilet and shower were both cracked. There was a bar of soap instead of their Dove supplier (looked really bad), and the conditioner was also out. The bed looked clean ( I always check under sheets and comforter due to previous bad experiences), but not sure how old they pillows were. They looked and felt frumpy. Luckily we traveled with our own. We got ready to go out for our evening and left the room and hotel. Here is when we really noticed the neighborhood. NOT good or safe. I felt very uncomfortable going anywhere without my husband present. While I understand that is not the hotels fault, I just want others to be aware of the neighborhood. We left for the night and came back to find our key cards no longer worked. Go downstairs to get them fixed, the woman got the wrong number and didn't bother to check that it was even our room. She also didn't seem surprised that the keys stopped working for no reason. Finally got those fixed and went to bed. Walls are very thin and you can hear the guests in their rooms and in the hallway. Breakfast was to be expected based on what we had experienced so far. Not sure if the sausage is real meat or not. While coffee and juice was available, no water was available anywhere. Luckily I had my own. We left to see a bit of Memphis, and upon our return my husband noticed that now the fire detector was beeping in the hallway. While the front desk did fix that immediately, we noticed on our way out that another was already chirping again. Multiple times in the lobby I noticed different substances on the floor for more than 5 minutes (once during breakfast so lots of foot traffic). Overall seems the full staff needs to take better care and pride in...
