We had dinner at this Buffalo Wild Wings in June, 2023. I will give them a break because it was pretty busy being in the 6 o'clock hour, which is prime dinner time for a lot of folks. We had to wait a minute or two for our table, which wasn't bad. We were sat at a high table which is center dinner room in this BWW. I will say that it was quite noisy as I would have expected. We ordered drinks, then it took a while for our waiter to come back. We ordered food, then it took a pretty long time for our food to come out. Yes, we have had waits before at BWW. But this was much longer than normal. I want to think that it just might have been the timing of when we arrived that caused the kitchen backup. Our waiter although taking extended time for certain things, bringing the wrong things for other things, and forgetting other things, was quite likable. He had a personality that I couldn't be annoyed at. Again, I would like to think that BWW being busy played a part in this as well. Our food did come out and it was good. I had wings and they were good and quite large. Everyone said their food was good. I also think that fact helped get the waiter off the hook as well. Dinner was not inexpensive either. Just having some wings and a drink can add up quickly. We received our check by email, which was different. The problem with the new technology of paying, was that it didn't work. The wife had to go round and round trying to pay this bill with her phone. That probably took more than 15 minutes. I do not find technology for theologies sake to be helpful. Just paying the bill the old fashion way is tried and true. In this case we held an available table for a substantial amount of time, because BWW probably is trying to boost profits by having the customers do the work, rather than the traditional way. In this case, it back fired and frustrated us. I had to wash my hand since there were no hand wipes at the table in this BWW. So I went to the bathroom and found a not so pleasant rest room. (to be nice) Is this also because BWW was busy, or just because they do not keep up on bathroom cleanliness? This is where I feel they have to make the effort. I can over look long waits for other things. But you have to find a way to keep your restrooms to at least appear to be clean. All in all, I'm giving this Buffalo Wild Wings three stars because the food was good and the waiter very personable. Otherwise, it would have been less. This wasn't a bad place. And it was busy. But you have to step up to the plate at times. And I didn't have a great impression of this BWW. But all of it can be overcome. As such, three stars. And quite honestly, that is...
Read moreNever again. One way over priced for what you get. Second service was not good. Just 2 of us. My son got 10 boneless chicken and Mac and cheese. His came out in a normal amount of time 15 mins or so. However mine just a simple Caesar salad. This came out about sixteen minutes later. At that point. My son only had two pieces of chicken left and he was actually speeding very slowly hoping my food would come out but he was very hungry after school. The girl that brought it to the table was probably maybe twenty four. When I said you know i've been waiting a long time for this. She said and. I said this is not acceptable. I said food should be served at the same time or within a few minutes at Most. And if there was a problem that it wasn't going to be I should have been notified. I was not in fact we were completely ignored. The server walked by once and goes.Oh, I'll get you a refill but getting an.Ask us if the food was any good or why my food was not there. That refill never came Of his soda. So once I told the girl that delivered the food that I was not going to accept the salad at this point I would just like the bill and like to leave. She walked away and brought back. The bill slammed it on the table turned around and walked away.Didn't say a word and I said well.Well , I would like to speak to a manager also. She kept on walking. The server came by and said I heard you would like to close out your bill. I said I would actually like to talk to the manager. The girl that has delivered the salad comes right by and she goes.Oh she actually wants to talk to you. He said oh no.Actually I want to talk to the manager. That's in charge of her. And there was no manager on duty just another server. So I ended up having to call corporate. They agreed with me that that should have never happened. Once I got up from the corporate I did pay my bill and tipped even though it wasn't really deserved but I still gave her fifteen percent. Had she given me good service?I would have given fifty percent as I normally do because I did work in the restaurant business for over ten years and I do own a business and I do understand how it can be hard. This was some of the worst service i've had in a very long time. And my son said the chicken wasn't any better than applebee's so that says a lot. And the size of the dinner salad was literally the size of a side salad with a half a piece of chicken on it. But they surely wanted more than a full price of a salad for it. I would not recommend this restaurant. And I don't like to leave bad reviews, but beware.Don't go unless you're just looking to get drunk. I...
Read moreHorrible food and terrible service. Arrived AFTER fight night wave (slow time). We told “Brandon” (server) we needed to leave after being seated. Asked for 10 boneless wings to go and some fries. Waited 30 minutes patiently. We called Brandon over, told him we need to leave and asked for a refund. He said “I saw them just boxing them up. They are going to be ready for you right now”. He turned to walk the opposite direction of the kitchen. We stopped him and asked he go get it now (we had to leave). Forcefully he went to go get the food.
The freshly made wings and fries were cold and crusty. Like they sat in the kitchen the whole day. We called and asked to speak with Sonia (Manager). We told Sonia the situation and she said “yea it was fight night”. Then we told Sonia we arrived after the wave. Sonia asked for a receipt number. Read it to Sonia 3 times. Sonia could not find in the system. Sonia asked for our table number and name of the server another 3 times. Calmly we dealt with her inability to comprehend basic English words. Turned out as a manager she is not familiar with her own computer system.
Sonia gave attitude the entire conversation. Sonia was not apologetic, understanding nor did Sonia try to get to the bottom of the situation. She shrugged it off and created an us vs them ambience. I asked her for a refund and she didn’t agree right away (she needed the receipt that she couldn’t find)…Yupp, that’s right, the manager could not find a receipt. I emailed her a copy and confirmed she received it, then… magically…she found the receipt. Ohp there it is! She said. Asked me if we wanted store credit. Clearly declined. Asked her to charge it back on my card. She said she couldn’t do that because I paid via text bill pay. We finally agreed she’d mail me a gift card for the amount of our bill we can use anywhere.
Brandon and Sonia like to make customer’s experience difficult. This was my experience with them. They are both unacceptable but I’d hold the manager to a higher standard. A manager is supposed to impose the values down to the other employees instilled by corporate.
Corporate will hear about this matter so they know what’s happening on the FLOOR of the business. I wouldn’t want my employees to treat customers this way. Aside from customers not wanting to return, this speaks volumes about the company culture. For you Sonia and Brandon, I hope you learn to THINK...
