1st time visiting a Popeye franchise. Excited to try their chicken as I had heard positive reviews about their recipe and theres always a line of cars around the building and parking spaces are full. Went to drive through and this location was not busy...hardly anyone there on a thursday afternoonat 3:30. Two of us in party. My husband ordered a #3 combo but they were out of the chicken so he requested a #2 combo instead with Cole slaw and a d coke. A basket of the butterflied shrimp but they were out of the butterflied shrimp so we opted for the popcorn shrimp instead. A 12 piece wings basket, a mango lemonade, and 2 oreo cheesecakes. Our total was $28.33. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. After we paid for our order we received one of our drinks and were asked to pull ahead and she'd bring our order out. We waited for about 15 mins when my husband went inside to inquire on the status of our order. While he was waiting for help the lady came out with our order all bagged up and handed it to me. As I placed the order on the passenger seat of my car she explained that they were also out of Cole slaw so I told her that my husband would like mashed potatoes instead. I also told her that he was inside trying to find out on our order and just then he must have heard his name and started walking to the car. We waited a few more minutes for the mashed potatoes and then left to go on our next errand. When we got home and unpacked the bag of food they had not given us our oreo cheesecakes. I tried calling the number listed on Google for this location a few times and both times went to message stating that this number isn't taking calls and has not set up a vm and to try again later. My husband enjoyed his food. We both liked the popcorn shrimp and fries. My wings were terribly spicy hot so I didn't like them or finish them and I could hardly taste any mango in my lemonade but maybe my tongue was just flaming on the wings. Now I know what Popeyes Chicken is like. Hopefully you have a better experience...
Read moreI came at 9:06 walked in stood for a few minutes until a young girl with a side part bob and fuchsia highlights told me there dining area was closed. I walk out go in the drive through there are already 2 cars waiting one leaves and another truck is still waiting to order. He gets out his car and after 10mins I ask have they taken his order and he tells me no. Standing outside of his truck with money in hand. I then call 4 times no answer. Pull up to the window (there has been no other customers and the two behind me leave so now 5 to 2) and asked the man in the black and gray jacket who was taking out the trash what time they close his response was “sh¡t I don’t know” and laughed out of confusion then the same girl who helped me inside is at the back door, putting on lip gloss. I asked her the same thing I said 10 or 11 she was like 10/11 I don’t know and then they both go inside and walk away. Then I talked to the man who is at the The window, and a blue puffer jacket, looking goofy and asking him are they still taking orders to which he tells me yes, as he is FINALLY and presently taking the cars order behind me after being in line for about 15 almost 20 minutes. I don’t know what this locations issue is it hasn’t even been here for two months there needs to be a serious conversation about how the restaurant is supposed to be ran. This is ridiculous. You are still a new company in this location and it doesn’t make sense as to why this place has been running so poorly. The second drive-through window is rarely used. I’ve only been to this location twice the first time I waited in line for about 20 minutes they were about 10 cars in line, and then, my second time was only five cars. People are waiting for food and yet they are cleaning up inside and taking out trash but they cannot take orders. So for about a good 30 minutes I had a ridiculous experience and I have never dealt with this before when I have gone to the older location in Euclid, never...
Read moreForget what these other idiots are saying. They're old angry people mad because everything isn't perfect. It's a new restaurant. It's obviously gonna have long wait times. You can use your 2 eyeballs to see how long the line is. Don't come here expecting fast food. I knew right off the bat I'd be waiting an hour. I was just curious to try to food and decided to wait it out.
I genuinely wasn't expecting much at all. KFC at best maybe. I was so wrong. I got the 12pc sweet and spicy wings and let me tell you, it's something amazing. I've never gotten so much flavor from fried chicken. It blows KFC and Chikfila right out the water. Chikfila doesn't even come close honestly. The crunch was perfect, every bite was full of flavor, the dipping sauces were marvoulous. It's the best chicken I've ever had. The lady at the register was also very understanding and kind to me.
With that being said, I won't be back until the hype of a Popeyes in the area has died down and the wait time becomes more bareable. As of right now I would highly recommend ordering online if they have...
