Imagine it is a beautiful sunny day, you walk in to grab a bite to eat, and your ear holes are suddenly assaulted by some edm Euro hard house blaring from the speakers. I like edm, but this was something else. I guess it was a step up from the time before when it was some trendy three note whining. You know that new auto tune emo stuff that makes you contemplate your entire existence and possibly want to drive into oncoming traffic? You look around and can tell you aren't the only one wondering who is in charge of the music and why is it so LOUD? The poor workers look drained and in a disassociate state. I can't blame them because the "music" has that effect on everyone in the building. For the love of all things right, can we just get some 80s/90s throwbacks? Smooth Jazz? Something that doesn't make you cringe the entire 10 minutes you wait for your sub? I was even joking about offering to DJ for free subs as we waited for our food just to make it stop.
Oh AND!! We need the flavored tea!!! I know it's cramped by the drink station. Is it possible for you to move that stuff away from the door to prevent the constant bottleneck and give us that sweet nectar of goodness. We NEED it!
Overall, the employees are nice, and the quality at this place is top-notch compared to the other JMs within driving distance. I'm just an Autist girl living in an abrasive world. I don't like change, and I have a vendetta against musical tones that make me contemplate continuing my existence. Music is instrumental in setting the atmosphere. Even when you aren't actively listening to it, it can shift your...
Read moreOn Monday, August 26, 2024, I entered the mequon location at approximately 6:40pm with no customers inside. The older blonde female behind the counter took my order. I asked for a regular #9 on wheat. She cut the giant loaf in half. This is normal. Then, she cut an additional piece off of the half. This would be for a mini sandwich. Remember, I asked for a regular. When I asked her why she cut off the additional piece she replied, "I didn't want you to think that every time you should get this size." At this point I informed her I no longer wanted to order. I asked for her name and she initially refused to give it to me. When I asked who the supervisor was, she became very argumentative with me in front of the very young employees watching. I didn't curse at her. As I was leaving she wanted to escalate the argument by telling the two workers that I was complaining about her giving me a mini sub when I asked for a regular. I go to jersey mikes at least once a week at multiple locations. I have never been treated like this before. She finally stated her name was "Katherine." Normally, I go to this location during lunch time with no issues. It's not the location....
Read moreAs a frequent customer who loves Jersey Mike's I need to write a review of the Mequon location in hopes that management continues to strive for improvement and earn my future 5 star review at this location. My recent experience was sub-par from a service and cleanliness standpoint. I was there after the lunch rush had passed around 2p and was dining in. Friendliness and being greeted is hit and miss and this location depending on who is behind the counter. Not requesting anything special other than making a point to train all employees to simply greet the customer with a "hello" and prompt them to order, not just stare at me when it is time to order without saying a word. My main issue during this visit was that all tables in the restaurant were visibly dirty and not being wiped down. Customers deserve a clean table to eat from and this is such an easy thing to correct. I'm no restaurant manager but seems there should always be 1 employee with their head on a swivel to wipe down tables as customers come and go so new customers can sit down at clean table without having to wait 3 min to flag an...
