During a recent visit to Panda Express, I had a disappointing experience that overshadowed what should have been a quick and satisfying meal. While the service was efficient and the restaurant was clean, the quality of the food—particularly the chow mein—fell far short of expectations.
I ordered the vegetable chow mein, a dish I’ve enjoyed before at other locations. However, this time, the noodles were noticeably undercooked, with a tough, almost raw texture that made them difficult to chew. Despite this, I ate a portion of the dish, assuming it might just be an off batch. Unfortunately, within an hour, I began experiencing stomach discomfort, which I can only attribute to the improperly prepared noodles.
Food safety and proper cooking techniques are fundamental in any restaurant, especially in a fast-casual chain like Panda Express, where consistency is key. Serving undercooked noodles is not just a matter of poor taste—it can also pose a health risk. While I’ve had better experiences at other Panda Express locations, this incident has made me cautious about ordering chow mein here again.
I hope this feedback reaches the management so they can address the issue with their kitchen staff. Properly cooked food is essential for customer trust and satisfaction. Until then, I’d advise diners to check their orders carefully...
Read moreOne star is too many. I can't even put into words how irritated I am with the lack of communication skills that the servers possess. One container with 3 separate areas (right ?) I ordered the Spicy Beef (to begin my order). She filled the entire container with the Spicy Beef and closed up the container. I said: No !!! I also wanted to order other items. She grabbed another container. NO !!! I tried to explain that I was wanting two other items in the same container She opened the container up and said: "what you want" ? Seriously !!! Since the container has been completely filled up with the Spicy Beef where in the world is my next two items going to go !!! NOPE I am not going to have food piled up on each other. See ya !!!! As I was walking out (without piled up food) the other male server on duty started yelling at me saying: You pay..you pay !!!! How about doing some training before anyone is throw out there to deal with the public ?!? Will I be back..uhhhhhh that's a...
Read moreThe food was delicious! Panda Express offers a fast-food spin on a buffet favorite. I'm not a frequent visitor to Panda, but several of my friends love it. My good friend brought me here and ordered two plates for us: one with chow mein, walnut shrimp, with broccoli & beef, and the second plate with chow mein, walnut shrimp, and the slightly-spicy Beijing beef, with two large sodas, with a total just over $20, including tax. They ran low on Walnut shrimp, so they brought the fresh order to our table as soon as it was ready. Some people rave about Panda's orange chicken, but I think that is a very overrated dish considering some of their offerings. The restaurant was busy and relatively clean despite the lunch rush just winding down. Some of the tables had just been vacated and not been wiped down, but there were still clean tables available. The soda bar...
