I came in on Monday July 1st at 9:46 PM (the time listed on my cash app payment). Let me just preface by saying I have eaten at chipotle more than most people. I used to eat there every other day for literally a couple of years and I had very good service and enjoyed the food many times.
Unfortunately, this experience was not good and the follow up to get my refund was not good either.
The reason I prefaced by saying I had eaten at chipotle almost every day for several years is because I’ve never had a location be out of as many things as this location was on my visit on July 1, 2024.
They only had a little bit of Carnitas and some Barbacoa for meat. They had only a spoonful of white rice. They had only red hot sauce and we’re out of almost everything else. I couldn’t believe it.
In fact, I said, are you out of all the other stuff or did you guys already put it away? I’ve worked in service industry and I know how quickly workers will want to get ready to leave for the night by packing up early before the offical close.
The female worker told me they’re out of all that other stuff such as the queso and pico and the green salsa and cheese and a couple other items not to mention they already tossed all of Organic juice. Mind you this was 15 to 20 minutes before they are suppose to close.
The female Worker did not put my lid on securely, which is a common theme i have found at other stores where they put the lid on as fast as they can rather than taking their time to make sure that it is secure. I told her to throw the rest of the pico in there, including the juice.
I was planning on eating there, however after I got my food and went to the restroom and came back, all of the chairs were already put up and so figured I guess I will go home and eat it, but I wasn’t happy about that.
I ride a motorcycle, and as I was putting the food in my backpack, I noticed that the juices had already seeped through where they didn’t close the lid properly,and the cardboard bowl was drenched.
I knocked on the door and told Javier I needed a refund and gave him the food and he told me they have to do the Refund another day.
Unfortunately, I was only able to come back to the store six days later five minutes before they were closing, and I was unable to find my receipt, but i had a recording of javier and i talking that night of me telling him I needed a refund and giving him all the food back untouched.
The rude manager Tina, who I talked to when I came in July 7th, was horrible and solving the issue as i told her I cannot find my receipt however I could show her my banking app that was charged by chipotle.
She gave me attitude and was rude. Told me I would have to have a receipt and I told her look I haven’t even complained to anyone else and i could have already called and made a complaint about all of this and she told me that I am free to do that.
She told me we are closed so I’m gonna need you to leave and I thought that was super rude especially since the front door was open when I came in 5 mins before 10pm.
She said her name was Tina. I’m gonna go home and try to find my receipt. I have proof through my cash app history and my video recording the night of my interaction with Javier.
She asked me why I waited so long and waited till five minutes before they closed and I advised her that I had a lot going on which is honestly none of her business and shouldn’t be a big deal anyways nor should it affect me getting a refund.
I told her that I could have called and complained about it, but I didn’t and she advised me to go ahead and do that or whatever I wanted to do so rather than deescalating the situation and offering a solution, she told me to leave and was super rude.
Tomorrow I will be calling Corperate and letting them know about this experience that was highly unsatisfactory and downright rude, especially considering how much i have come to chipotle...
Read moreI really was craving Chipotle. I wish that they had cauliflower rice still instead of regular carb rice. I was told by an employee it doesn't sell well. Well if they didn't jack up the price to have that then maybe it would have sold better? I don't eat meat so all I asked was for vegetables. The man barely gave me a small small. Let me accentuate small amount of vegetables and I asked him. Can I have more vegetables? I don't eat any of this other stuff and he literally picked up one slice of bell pepper and one more slice of onion and put it on there. I was like oh forget it never mind. I mean I did ask for half of the portion of rice they could have compensated with the request for extra beans or extra vegetables. At least that's the way it used to be, but we know the world's not the way it used to be anywhere. After I purchased my veggie bowl, I realized that I did not get a drink. So, I turned around and I went back up there and the tall overweight male was checking people out. I don't know if he expected me to go back in line to request a drink or what, but he totally ignored me the rest of the time that I went back up there. Even when I went back to ask for the cover on my bowl because I could not eat it all at once, he didn't even respond whatsoever. So I went over or even acknowledged my presence so I went over to the to go area and the one female was hanging up receipts or doing something with some paper and then the other female was making the bowls and neither one of them acknowledged my presence going back up there either. I stood there for a good 8 minutes and then I had to be like excuse me. Can I have a to-go box and the one female pointed like looked at the other female and got her attention and then just pointed at me. I did end up getting a to-go box but I don't understand what's wrong with these kids and why they just can't socially interact properly like it shouldn't be like that to totally. Just ignore me and keep looking at me and not even like just move away like glance at me and then move your eye back like you. See me there and you're going to let me know that you see me there but you're not going to have customer service skills. I to be honest don't even want to see the future of what these kids are going to bring to the future cuz this is just it used to not be like that you used to be able to go up and they'd be like. Hi how are you doing? How may I help you? Is there anything that you need? No that's just out of the door that doesn't happen anymore. Not with this generation at all. Read moreI’m sorry chipotle (this location) but I’ve always came to this location and two nights ago I was not happy with my service and I have contacted corporate about it. I order online ALOT probably about 5 times in a month for this location. I accidently ordered 3 sides of guacamole and I only wanted 2. I called the store to let them know that I only wanted two and if I could get my money back. The cashier girl was so rude I don’t know why but something about her attitude did not feel right. She told me on the phone that I needed to contact corporate which is fine but she didn’t need to have a bad attitude about it so I asked for the manager and the girl says “fine” so she tells the manager and I can hear her say “they aren’t listening to what I’m saying and they want to talk to you” and I hear the manager say “why do they need to talk to me?” Umm excuse me ? You’re a manager and I’m a customer providing you business that’s why. So she gets on the phone and tells me the same thing which is a little more nice but still not happy so I then tell her “I don’t like the way your employee handled my question” and she says “well it’s true you do need to go through corporate to get your money back and that it isn’t under my control we won’t make you the third guacamole but you still need to go through corporate” and I then said so if you don’t make me my 3rd guacamole I’m left paying for something I don’t have because corporate decides if they want to give me my money back and she says yes then hangs up. So I get to the chipotle and the guy comes up and I tell him I just want my 3rd guacamole because I didn’t know it was going to be a hassle and the girl that was making the food tells the guy “really” and rolls her eyes.
