I'm a Dunkin connoisseur. I literally go every single day. I recently moved from Ahwatukee to Gilbert and tried this Dunkin for the first time. The good: My order was taken in the drive thru promptly. The bad: Everything else. Thankfully, I was the first in line, and my normal coffee and a donut is one of the easiest, fastest orders to process. I pulled up to the window and sat there...and sat there...and sat there some more as the line behind me started to get long with cars. I could only see one guy, the guy taking orders, and he wasn't doing much of anything. Finally, a blonde lady came into view but also seemed to be doing very little. After sitting there for 4 minutes and contemplating driving off, the tall, curly haired young guy with glasses finally decided maybe he should do something to process orders. He slowly poured my coffee, no rush or pep in his step, and then went to grab my donut. When he handed them to me, I asked him if they were short staffed because 5 minutes on one small order seemed excessive. He replied "Sort of. They raised minimum wage so now we don't get as many hours. There's nothing we can do. Thanks and have a good day." He then crumpled up my receipt without asking me if i wanted it - likely because he knew I'd leave a review. It is true, they could be short staffed - but I also saw little to no hustle and a lot of standing there as cars backed up. I'm hoping this is a one off encounter and it gets better. I'm not optimistic due to the low rating this store already has and...
Read moreOkay, I am a HUGE supporter if dunkin. But, the service was atrocious. They over charged me.that specific thing has happened a few times. (There is a sweet little time frame whete you can get a iced latte for 2.00 and a medium one heck yes) well, i was charged almost 5. But the person at the window, holy cow RUDE. I had mentioned the cost he snapped at me and said " this id my 2nd day you didn't read it right" followed by "my manager doesn't help and is just sitting down, at least I made the drink". My reaction, "whoa, hold on. Firstly, you should never ever talk to anyone that comes through in that tone." He had started to pipe up I put my hand up and said " I am not done wait. I have worked for dunkin for a long time. I would still be working for them if they wanted me. You need to talk to someone sonyou can get the proper training and your manager needs to talk to their higher up guys." I was so mad at how they treated me. And, on with the over charging. I had on a separate occasion asked for the great one. Well I was given a large. I had asked," um I did order and pay for the great one". Followed by a snide remark" yeah and thats it." Yet again," I said I am sorry but your wrong.." She turned around and said "Thats what they made for you so its right" Id love to go in there and help that place out guys your gonna lose a ton of business if you don't get it together. Come on. Oh and a side note why cant ANYONE. Be happy and cheerful on the drice thru? I WAS ALWAYS UPBEAT cheerful,...
Read moreMy wife and I had gone through the drive through around 3pm this afternoon, out of the usual just craving some coffee and donuts on our day off. Unfortunately, it was an unpleasant visit to say the least. To begin, the man at the speaker taking our order was pretty short and rude with us, and we had only ordered 3 items. After pulling up to the window we were greeted, and paid for our order, about 5 minutes after sitting there. Not caring much as we didn't have anywhere to be, like i said it was our day off. However the man who took our payment left the window open, and we could hear and see inside. The man who took our payment had asked the man who took our order at the speaker a question, and he was extremely rude and aggressive with actions and how he responded to him. My wife and I were shocked at the disrespect to a coworker. A few minutes had passed and the aggressive man who took our order, came to the window and aggressively handed out our coffee and a bag of donuts. Not saying a word to us, and me being appalled at the situation, I asked for his name, which he did not reply. I asked again. No reply. Finally, a third time, and he answers with "Adrian". He is short and he has dark brown medium length hair, and a beard. I'm not usually the one to write a review but the utter disrespect that this young man has to the people around him is alarming. He needs some redirection or should NOT be working in the...
