In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Mesa

This is the WORST location I've ever been to. The bathroom is filthy, the urinal apparently was broken because it has a trash bag covering it, the stall door lock doesn't line up so it can't be locked, and on top of that the stall door swings open on it's own. The sink won't stay on for more than one second at a time, even though my hands were in front of the sensor the whole time. My order was placed just fine except for the fact that when I said I wanted a double patty, single cheese burger, she didn't quite understand and had to ask if that was a double single. I said yes, paid and my receipt showed the correct order. I got my food and on my way to the table I noticed they only put one patty on my burger. I took it back and stood at the counter for nearly 5 minutes before even being acknowledged, which I found strange seeing as how there was no line and the cashier was just standing there. I explained that I ordered a double patty burger and they only put one patty on and she didn't seem to understand the problem. She stared at my receipt and the burger for a good amount of time before it seemed to click in her head. They took my tray of food back, and about a minute later brought it back to me. Their solution was to simply add another patty. Even though I clarified which burger it was (of only a two burger order), they still managed to put the patty on the wrong burger. They took the entire tray back again, took the patty off and put it on the correct burger. Then they handed back the tray. All I got were half-hearted obviously fake smiles (because they have to) and similarly fake apologies. I'm not looking for a free meal, but to offer nothing for wasting my time after multiple mistakes on their part was a bit ridiculous for a company that prices themselves in...

I absolutely love this place. The employees are not only friendly or just good with taking care of the patrons, but they actually act like they are alive. Unlike other fast food joints. The employees have actually gone above and beyond with being able to have intellectual and funny, entertaining and stimulating conversations with the patient people waiting for the well worth the lines that aren't that slow moving by any means. I mean these employees are so obviously enjoying the work they do from taking orders to cooking the delicious food laughing and smiling through the drive thru glass partition. Totally and completely a rarity to have the people serving you anywhere be this friendly and engaging these days during these somewhat dark and very confusing and frightening times of pandemics, threats of war amongst all the personnel things people are dealing with privately. In-N-Out does it's job of giving that nostalgia people need right now to remind us of what it was like at simpler times with the simple selections and fairly good prices for the quality being so good. I gotta hand it to the management of this team at this location because it all trickles down, good or bad from upper management to the guy spraying the parking lot. And it's obviously trickling down from great mangement who knows how to build a successful and strong work environment and team made to bring back it's customers again and again.

In N Out consistently delivers on each and every meal. The burgers and fries are fresh, the shakes are refreshing, and the customizations are impressive. Everything is made to order, meaning your burger/fries haven't been sitting under a heat lamp for 30+ minutes.

The menu is super simple with few choices, but they're all about the freshness.

My only minor gripes are that the combos aren't cheaper than getting everything a la carte, and the line for all locations are long. Also, this location does seem to take a lot longer than the ones on Rural/202 and...
