Mariscos Mi Lindo Guaymas Mesa — Restaurant in Mesa

Visiting for the first time 6/21 and walking in we were unsure until we walked to the register where we were told we could sit anywhere. I would recommend bringing cash as they charge for the use of card. First thing, the menu is incomplete meaning the drinks are not listed and when you ask, at the moment, they had soda that only came in glass bottles. They are $5 each pretty pricy and they had little to no gas so it was more of flat soda. Price to each their own but disappointed on it being flat. We ordered the 7 Mares, Fajitas Mixtas, Tostada Ceviche de Camaron, and a Coctel de Camaron. The 7 Mares was more of a 5 Mares was missing clams and crab with the portion being smaller than expected compared to competitors for the price but it had flavor. The tostada was not full of flavors which lets you add sauce/salt more yourself but not the best and portion wise amazing. The coctel was about the same lacking some flavor but had a good amount of shrimp and portion was amazing. The fajitas were good and flavorful which consist of chicken, meat, shrimp, bell pepper, and onion served on an iron cast skillet with the portion being amazing as well. The biggest part would be the lack of sides included for example, the 7 mares could have some onion and cilantro on the side, the coctel with some complimentary avocado, the fajitas with some sour cream or pico de gallo. Small but things that compliment the dish as everything is sold separate which feels incomplete and more of a finish building your dish. Now to the service the server was nice but could work on somethings. She would clear the dishes but it would be as we were still visibly eating off of it and would ask until after she had grabbed it, if we were done. I understand clearing the dishes as the customer goes but it would be better to see the dishes not in use then ask to be taken since it felt like our food was being taken away as we were still eating. The food here is excellent. Hot, fresh, tasty, and a great value. We particularly enjoy the chicharonnes de pescado.

What really stood out, though, was the honesty and kindness of the staff. I lost my wallet here and didn't realize until later. When I came back about two weeks after, they had kept it safe and returned it with everything inside. That kind of integrity is rare and deserves recognition.
