I used to come here probably 5 or more times a week for almost a year since I first moved to AZ and everything was a great but I noticed new personnel were being hired to replace those that were leaving. Since then I have tried very hard not to come to this location because my food is often times incorrect and my girlfriend and I ALWAYS have to re-wrap our food because it looked like somebody just threw everything together, balled it up with a tortilla, and called it a wrap. A few weeks ago I had to go back after we had already gotten home because not only did they forget items in our wraps that are listed on the menu but our portions were god awful. The manager gave us a gift card and new food which I thought she handled very professionally. But the exact same thing just happened to me when I went to try the new seasonal burrito; all I tasted was tortilla and more disappointment.
Aside from the food, certain staff members have also rubbed us the wrong way. Often times we feel rushed and have been cut off while still attempting to order more items which is ridiculous because we want to spend more money at the restaurant. Our orders are rarely ever read back to us which doesn't surprise me as to why they're often times incorrect. We've just noticed an overall lack of customer service ability.
We both love the restaurant, the food, and overall concept as a whole and there are a few employees at the Mesa location that we love. The manager we usually speak with is great and seems like she has some solid experience in the industry. There have also been other managers in the past at this location that we have loved and some of them even knew my order by heart when they saw my car pull up. I don't expect that type of service but those subtle actions are what kept me coming back up until this point. We have tried other locations around the valley and have absolutely enjoyed them. The restaurant off of Scottsdale rd is superb in every facet of the word. We live in Mesa less than a mile from our Salad And Go but at this point we don't plan on visiting again...
Read moreThis location used to be amazing last year, I got pregnant and could not eat anything so stopped going. I finally had my kiddo and could eat again so decide to go back and I was so disappointed. They seem to never be able to keep their "frozen" strawberry lemonade beyond cold and a slight slush. I ordered ahead and went to the pickup window still waited for my order because their drive through was busy. Went back a few weeks later, waited in line and again was told their frozen lemonade was not frozen :/ went home disappointed. I had also asked for an extra dressing only to find out it was not included when I got home. I was really craving a salad and did not want to drive to a different location so I ordered ahead, confirmation said order was in and would be ready at 4:20 I showed up at 4:30 and they hadn't even started my order. In the mean time cars kept going trough drive through, at least 8 that I counted. I waited around 10 more minutes "for my order to be made" only to have the girl come back to the window to tell me they had just run out of the Buffalo chicken. I seriously was so mad, by that time it had been well over 35 minutes since my order was placed and they could of told me when I asked up for my order but didn't. I'm pretty sure they were not even looking at mobile orders and sold the last portion to drive trough orders while I waited for my order for almost 10 more minutes after being told they were out. I had been given my drinks and it's hot in AZ right now needless to say my once slightly frozen Strawberry lemonade was once again a watery not frozen drink by the time I got into my car. I hate driving further and hate that my once favorite place to eat is not...
Read moreMy morning started out sluggish as I was lying in bed stressing about life cause I'm a college student. I had to skip breakfast because I was reflecting on life for too long. After my class I decided to try Salad and Go as I have never had it before but wanted to for a while. I was surprised at how long the drive-thru line was but I was ok with waiting. The line actually moved quickly and I was able to order my Caesar Salad with chicken cause I ain't about that tofu life. Everything was going smoothly and my excitement to try this delicious looking salad was getting more and more. I was exiting off the freeway when some snowbirds in the left lane next to me decided to try and get into my lane even though I was driving right next to them. Good thing I have ninja like reflex's and slammed on my brakes to avoid an accident. As I did that, my poor salad went flying to my car floor and I screamed for the life of this delicious looking salad that cannot scream for itself. I looked down at it in complete sadness and looked at these snowbirds with tears in my eyes wondering why they would do this to my salad. I got to my mom's office parking lot and quickly scooped up the lettuce that was thankfully still in the lid and put it back into the container. I picked up as much lettuce as I could from the floor cause I put money into this salad and I'm a college student that will eat anything I get. Needless to say, the salad is wonderful and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good healthy and inexpensive...
