OH MY...WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Where do I even begin?? Me and my boyfriend went to the Texas Rangers game tonight and they gave us coupons for a FREE grand slam with the purchase of a drink. We get there and took awhile to be seated. We asked if we can use the coupon and they said yes. Well then they said that we could only use one per party. The waiter came back and said he would just make two separate tickets for us, so we agreed and sat at our table. Keep in mind, it is 12:30 at night at this point, so it is pretty dead. The waiter asked for our drink order, it took 25 minutes to get our drinks. There were a couple other tables around us and they had been waiting forever too. Finally, we get our drinks and food. The cook messed up my boyfriend's order. The quality of the food wasn't that great to begin with either. The waiter kept saying "Sorry about the wait, I've been really busy". Mind you, it took him roughly 10 minutes to put the orders into the system. Anyway, so we finally eat and we go to pay. They said the coupon didn't work for the people that just left so we'll see if it works for you. Of course, it didn't. We told him we want to talk to a manager, so he goes to get her. While he is away, this other woman (who clearly didn't like being there) walks up and tries to ring us up starts giving me lip about how she can't honor the coupon for both of us. I explain that the other guy was helping us and he was doing two different checks so we can get the coupon. She kept interrupting me and saying we'll have to wait for the guy because she didn't want to take responsibility for ringing up the coupon. The guy finally came back without the manager and said they can't do anything about it. So we had to pay full price for our meals which is really frustrating! I even asked the guy if he can ring up just our drinks instead and he said no. By this point, me and my boyfriend are mad and there is a line. The whole lobby was full. The most frustrating this is that the manager wouldn't even come out to speak to us. She wanted to hide behind a counter or office so she didn't have to face someone who experienced bad customer and was frustrated. A manager should be hired to deal with customers and not once did anyone offer something. For example: I'm sorry we couldn't honor that for you but here is a gift card or another coupon that will work. So needless to say, we will NEVER go back to this...
   Read moreFirst of all WOW. My last review was terrible and i sounded like a total bđłtch. Went here last night (10/26/2022) to meet some friends and there was only one person working the register, hostess and server positions. Her name is Liz. She was cheerful, helpful, polite and got us everything we needed. we were a party of 7 so that's a lot. Also, there were two other large parties (i counted) and she was taking care of a total of 18 people between 3 tables ALL BY HERSELF. she was quick to refill our beverages and take care of any special requests we had. She was amazing considering she was working totally alone besides the cook in the kitchen. i have avoided this location for many years because of the poor service, but Miss Liz made me change my mind. we will definitely be back to this location and hopefully Miss Liz will be our server again. The food was good. only complaint i have about that is my hash browns were not cooked very well, but everything else was GREAT. if you go and Miss Liz is your server, be sure to tip her well. she deserves it.
Horrible service. When we tried to complain, we were treated worse! Waited 40 min for two burgers. Once we complained, our waiter nor any other staff in the restaurant checked on our table and when trying to communicate this to management, there was a total lost in translation moment. Their first language is not English (not complaining...this means they speak more than one) but in an industry where you need to be able to communicate with upset or displeased customers, a good handle on the spoken language of the area would be helpful. Instead of being concerned about what went wrong, we were given attitude and excuses. As i type this, i am also experiencing some mild food poisoning. How do i know i got sick from here...? I ate 6-10 french fries and two bites of my sons burger, and this is all I've eaten today.....stomach cramps, the D and a headache...all within 1 hour of leaving here.    Read moreWe came to adennys this morning about 9:30 for the first time after the remodel. And I have to say that it is exceeded are expectations and it was beautiful. My husband and i have been coming there for about 20 yrs and it was refreshing to see the new look. We were looking forward to a good time until we were waiting to be sat and were looked at and passed over 3 or 4 times by a server that was working in that side room multiple times we watched as people were sat in her section and she said no over and over again. And to our soprise it wasnt because she was full but every table in there was hispanic and we are Caucasian and as we continued to watch her pick her own table from the people in line and every table she picked was hispanic.We were about to walk out tBut the reason we stayed was all due to a veteran server named Tiffany. She saw us leaving and stopped us and promosed we would be taken care of us. We sat down and despite being super busy we got out drinks in 30 seconds or less, we ordered and thought the food would take a while but it took about 10 minutes and came out hot and fast and Tiffany rushed it out to us. We didn't have to ask for any condiments because she anticipated our needs. Our drinks were always full and she was very attentive and sweet. She was amazingly sweet to my children and had us laughing and enjoying ourself. We really had thought we were going to have to cut our losses and find a new Dennys. But our sever Tiffany swooped in and saved yall a 20 yr customer. She is an asset and her hard work is noticed. We will continue to come but only if she's working. And we will let our friends know as well that Drnnys off Towneast is a great place to eat but only if Tiffany is working. Someone needs to address /hat other servers behavior. I've never in my life experienced racism but it definitely was disheartening and very present within that server. We WILL be returning but only...
