Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Mesquite

This was my first time trying Scooters... I want to give special props to Xander...he was very friendly and helpful making my first time experience easy. I ordered the extra large Iced Carmelicous (?), the bacon burrito, 4 orders of the mini donuts and 2 caramel dips. The coffee was excellent and on point with the flavor and the sweetness. The donuts and dip didn't last, they were gone as soon as I pulled them out of the bag...my friend are those up... they looked good LoL. Now as for the bacon burrito...Xander was very apologetic for the fact that it was partially frozen because they had been closed for several days and really felt uncomfortable selling it to me especially when I said that I was okay with that and I would heat it up when I got home. Now yes they are pretty pricey and I'll admit for the price the burrito was small and the inside of it was not very appetizing (so don't open it lol) but besides it being a little salty for me it wasn't that bad. I'll be back just for the coffee and donuts (3 mini's for $1.00) and hopefully Xander...

Well.. I had high hopes for this place, considering this is a brand new location, and for the fact they charge the same price as their popular competitor of the "Stars". The fantastic... customer service is great! Ordered... their black & white nitro cold brew. To compare to their competitors nitro cold brew with sweet cream. VERY heady..either there is too much nitrous pumping thru, or the pouring was wrong. The cup was literally half foam, half coffee. Granted I took a tiny sip just to taste the flavor, but I think this pour was entirely TOO heady.. I dont know about you, but I certainly don't want to pay full price for half a coffee. Flavor of the brew isn't as robust either. I can deal with the cream not being sweetened & add my own sweetener to my taste..but the brew definitely needs a bolder flavor. That being said, I'm going to give the nitro cold brews a pass. I may or may not be back to try some other options...but I'll give a 3 star because their customer...

I don't typically like the idea of drive thru coffee cuz I like connection and quality time along with a variety of quality drinks and food. I was surprised at the taste of the coffee. It actually tastes of coffee and not bitterness, not overly sugary, very smooth... It's great. The food is also very high quality, which makes up for my expectations of the quantity. The maple waffle is a favorite by far, but the biscuit and bagel of the other sandwiches are pretty good coming out of the over. Fluffy and soft. And the staff are amazing. Some days I am able to chat and make that connection, some days we all wave and keep the line moving. But I am always having a great time when I stop by. I wish I were better at names so I could shout out everyone. I appreciate all of you! You guys are...
