Backyard Miami — Restaurant in Miami Beach

This place is an absolute gem for so many reasons!!! I have stayed at the marseille hotel twice in 2022 with my girlfriend and Chloe's has been a highlight. I will give a breakdown as succinct as possible!

The food: a new chef was brought in and menu changes were made during the year. The BREAKFAST is amazing. The pancakes are a delight with options on options. The classic breakfast meat basic needs and the price is lower than anywhere near them. I have eaten breakfast here 6-8 times and have tried a ton of options; I genuinely loved them all from the burrito to the avocado toast, the pancakes to steak and eggs! Is someone in your party not feeling breakfast? Great news- the lunch & dinner menu are available ALL DAY! (Shout out to the chicken tenders breakfast to cure the hangover from a Miami night out)

The lunch/dinner menu is somewhat limited but offers a lot of variety within the food groups they do offer. The food is always quick, made very delicious, and all fair priced. On any day we overstayed at the pool or beach, or just didn't feel like dressing up- being able to eat high quality food in my swimming trunks and tank top was beyond convenient. The marseille burger is a must have- as are most of their burgers. Again, I tried a number of meals from here and was very happy with all of them. The empanadas are an elite snack. The steak, the burgers, the balsamic tomato's.

The happy hour from 4-8 (bogo house cocktails; daily other specials- the mojitos were BOGO one day and AMAZING)

The people (SPOILER- they're amazing):

Damien- the owner of both Chloe's and the backyard (bar/lunch spot behind the marseille that's also a must try spot), absolute gem of a human being. So down to earth, accommodating, and kind. Had no idea the man owned the place based on his willingness to complete the smallest of tasks and the way he treated every employee and customer. Will go above and beyond to rectify any situation perceived as unfair or negative

Maxime- works with both Chloe's and the backyard, extremely kind and professional. Will ensure your experience is 100% up to par if something is ever wrong. Genuinely consider him a friend.

Larissa- breakfast server who took care of us with charm and haste a number of times. Very sweet server who is great at her job and personable!

Sabrine- another abolsute gem! Accommodating take out, dine in- fixing last minute requests with ease. These girls will make sure your breakfast dining experience is wonderful!

Alex- shoutout to Alex, who clears tables and runs food! They turn tables faster than most places in the strip- and he contributes to that!

Daniella & Laura took care of us for dinners, late night snacks and drinks so so many times!!! Again top notch service with great drinks and recommendations. So many amazing employees here!!

If you get the time- get to know these people. Their background and work ethic will amaze you! Ask questions, share your story- they are an awesome group of individuals !!!

Prices: Some of the best prices in Miami. Seriously- I live in middle of nowhere Ohio and they can almost compete with prices here (beware, there is 20% service and 9% tax as with almost any restaurant in this district). Generous portions with the classics and upgraded options. Drink specials on different days including a happy hour 4-8.

Decor: extremely cute outdoor space with a very primitive atmosphere. A lot of plants and greenery with a private feel even for a small crowded place. Waiting space in AC if tables are full and...

The scummy behavior of the employees of this business would have resulted in it shutting down a long time ago if it were situated in a smaller town. Unfortunately, the workers of this establishment are well aware of the fact that no matter what they do they will always receive an endless supply of tourists, giving them carte blanche to be as insolent and audaciously greedy as possible. I had been at an event there where it was an open bar, as I was getting ready to head out I asked the bar tender for a bottle of water, they were just beginning to close and put things away. When I asked, they said no with a passive aggressive and dismissive behavior - without reason or explanation - and quickly hauled the bar cart back to the bar. I wasn’t sure if they had understood the question since they barely spoke a word of English, I reconvened with them near the bar and asked again, pointing at the water bottles. Again they responded no, and this time irritatedly commanded me to go to the bar. This was followed by an “Oh my god” which they thought I hadn’t heard. They then proceeded to quickly remove the pack of water bottles and quickly stash them in the kitchen fearful that I might steal one, not even caring about the fact that if I were actually a thief I could have just grabbed the bottle of wine that was at the top of the cart. I went to the bar, waited ten minutes only for the bar tender to tell me with a smirk on his face that what was less than a couple minutes ago a free bottle of water, was now...

A Slice of Miami Paradise at Chloe's

I recently had the pleasure of grabbing a few drinks at Chloe's in Miami and let me tell you, the experience was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm Miami vibe that instantly put me in a relaxed state of mind.

One of the standout features of Chloe's is their impressive cocktail variety. It's a true paradise for the taste buds! I had the pleasure of trying their frozen passion fruit cocktail, and let me just say, it was pure perfection. The burst of fruity flavors combined with the refreshing chill was exactly what I needed on a hot Miami day.

I must mention our server, Chiara, whose friendly and attentive nature truly elevated our dining experience. She went out of her way to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. Her genuine warmth and knowledge of the menu made us feel like valued guests

The ambiance at Chloe's was also worth noting. the restaurant perfectly encapsulates the Miami spirit. From the stylish decor to the inviting music, every detail reflects the city's unique energy.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Chloe's highly enough. The combination of the Miami vibe, incredible cocktail variety, and the exceptional service provided by Chiara contributed to an unforgettable evening. Definitely put it in your lot do list...
