Prima Classe Miami Beach, Italian Market & Cafe — Restaurant in Miami Beach

We came in because I thought it was a good location and we wanted to have some appetizers. My friend and I had a coffee which was the only good thing in this whole experience. The waitress took our order and we never saw her again, I saw her opening the door when my friend went inside the place to ask for bread. We ordered the roast beef carpaccio and the bruschetta Rosso which both were a joke, we didn’t return anything we tried to eat it and it was such a waste, thick roast beef full of membranes, we needed bread and no one ever came to check if food was ok or anything at all, I saw the waitress leave in the middle of our meal, there was another waitress never came by or ask us if we needed something, they should’ve told us you know my shift is over she will be taking care of you now or something, just came by when we ask for the check. The bruschetta was 6 bite size pizza crust bread with tomato 2, 2 with avocado and with artichoke or god know what. I was trying to see if I found any comments in the reviews or pictures of this two plates and there are none, I’m sure because they are horrible. Got an iced latte and a ham, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich. The latte was bitter and had grounds through it. I have had several iced lattes from here before and they have been inconsistent, but none were terrible like this. I think I had a really delicious one here once so I kept going back and they were never the same. She remade it and it was still awfully bitter. My sandwich had no eggs and when I asked the server she put her hands up and said well I didn't take the order. She offered, not to remake it, but to bring me eggs (for my already cold sandwich), so I just decided to leave the food and latte and asked for the check. She walked away. I went to the front and asked the server for my check again. She looked at me, walked over and took somebody else's order. She walked by me again, and I asked her for my check a third time and she again ignored me and walked into the back. At this point, I was running late and was super irritated, so I left. I will not be back here. They are overpriced, charge and extra $1.00 for a togo cup, the food and drinks are inconsistent, and the customer...

An excellent place, and I would give it a 5 if it weren’t for the unethical practice of including the tip in the bill and referring to it as a service charge. I, the customer, decide the tip—not the waitress or the establishment—unless it is clearly disclosed in advance.

Note to respond: It is disclosed after the charge, and if you disclose it in the menu, it should not be in small prints, still this is an unethical practice, if you want to raise prices, that is fine, but again, customer should have the saying about tips, it is absurd 20% is added regardless of...
