The last time I ate at Chick-fil-A in the Dayton Mall, there was a major problem. Our food took an unusually long time to be ready. To compensate for the problem, they graciously gave me a coupon for a free meal next time. Today when I went in to redeem the free meal, I was told, "I'm sorry; we no longer accept paper coupons." I politely asked, "You won't take this when I was given it because you all messed up?" So she goes to speak to someone, comes back and basically says something like, "Well what location is this for?" I pointed to the fine print which stated, "Only at the Dayton Mall location." She goes to speak with someone again. Comes back and asks, "What was the date of service?" And I said, "I have no idea." I didn't realize I was going to have to keep record of that incident. She goes to talk to someone AGAIN, and comes back to say, "I'm sorry; we cannot honor this." I thought Chick-fil-A was supposed to be a company all about customer, or "guest," service. This interaction turned me off to the Dayton Mall location completely. I will not be back. And the manager or whoever didn't even have the guts or courtesy to just bring their butt over to the register to discuss the matter with me; but instead put the poor employee going back and forth, dealing with an uncomfortable situation. Disappointed in this...
Read moreI ordered my food from the Chick Fila A app with my rewards points. I ordered for delivery. When I received my food, my order was wrong (except my fries). I ordered a chicken sandwich with no pickles. I received a sandwich that had extra pickles on it. I ordered a half Sunjoy Lemonade and Sweet Tea with No Ice. I received a sweet tea with extra ice mixed with Sprite. Like the whole order was incorrect! I called to speak to the manager at the Dayton Mall location and told her my issues. She couldn't get past the fact that "Doordash delivered your food. You need to talk to them. There's nothing I can do." Doordash didn't make my food. That was the point! Not only did I get DISGUSTING FOOD, I received my first "Ghetto McDonald's" experience from a restaurant that I love, and I lost my rewards. I won't be back to this location. I'll be happy when the Washington Township location opens back up. They provide EXCELLENT...
Read moreI left the restaurant with the feeling of having been robbed. I ordered a 12 pc grilled nugget and substitute a salad for the waffle fries. The good: The side salad was a good portion with romaine hearts, spring mix, cherry tomatoes, some shredded cheese and a bag of crunchy tomato/bell pepper crisps. The dressing was a standard Apple Cider Vinagrette. Unlike other restaurant chains, the nuggets were real chicken, not processed and shapped chicken paste.
The bad: The nuggets were miniscule to the point of laughing, except I paid $10.20 for the combo plus $1.60 additional for the salad substitution. Adding insult to injury, there were only 10 nuggets in the cup. Probably a whopping 3 oz of chicken.
The rest, service, cleaningless, etc was at par with Health regulations which is what you come to expect of a big franchise.
I don't think they are going to cry over the fact I won't be returning, at least to...
