Burgermeister - Brickell — Restaurant in Miami

Didn't even know this place was here, but we were very impressed with the food, vibe and service. The signs are great and most of them made us laugh. Burgermeister did a great job decorating for Halloween! The place looked awesome!

We came here on a Tuesday early afternoon. We sat on the patio since the weather was beautiful. Marko was our greeter and server. He did a little bit of everything. he was very nice and made sure we were taken care of.

I ordered the BM Truffle Deluxe, this is the fanciest burger on the menu for $24.99. Most of the other burgers range in pricing from $12.99 up to $15.99.

My friend got the “Build Your Own Burger” and after adding everything up, this cost a total of $24.20. Whoa! I love that you can customize but crazy how fast everything adds up, This is how that order went down:

When our burgers came out, Marko was laughing at us because our jaws dropped at how MASSIVE these burgers are!!! Like how does one eat this??? We ordered both burgers at medium temp.

The BM Truffle Deluxe was delicious with so much flavor and so much going on. Haha. I think it was suppose to come with a fried egg but that seemed to be missing. All good. We didn't need it. Lol. The Build Your Own Burger was very cool with literally a head of lettuce cut in half and used as the "bun". This leaf option was refreshing and complimented the burger nicely.

This was a great spot. Fun space and unique menu items. They also offer appetizers, wings, salads, fries and dessert. The truffle & parmigiana fries looked yummy but we didn't have the room for it. Blue Cheese fries sounds interesting too as I love blue cheese.

This was the most disgusting burger I have ever had…I took one whiff and I wanted to throw up I can’t even eat this. People on here lying because theres no way this place is 4 star. This was my first time ever ordering here and my last. Called the restaurant immediately and I was sent to voicemail 4 times. I would like my refund. This burgers is rotten!!!!! Update… finally two days calling the business and getting a hold of the manager.. don’t even remember his name. Don’t even think he told me his name, has the nerve to tell me that I shouldn’t have wrote what I said on this review that it wasn’t necessary… and kept cutting me off as I was trying to explain my experience, when I was only being honest with my review… as you can see from the pictures they gave me old Rotten burgers, the lettuce, looking brown. The burger itself looks old… the onions and pickles were all very soggy, rotten and it smelled like they dipped their pickles and onions in raw chicken and just put it on my burgers. That’s how it smells like. but that wasn’t the only thing that got me super upset was the fact that he was laughing like it’s some joke I could’ve gone sick my sister could’ve gotten sick as well … will never be coming here again. I can clearly see how much customers are valued.. He didn’t even bother to help me figure out how I can get. My refund didn’t even care to fix the situation just said sorry and laughed…. All he said was to contact DoorDash because that’s where I ordered my food from…. His apology...

Expected fresh tea, got expensive bottle.

Maybe I need to reset my expectations here, but looking at an expensive burger restaurant in downtown Miami, when I requested a "sweet tea" I expected a home-brewed sweet tea served in a glass. Or if not sweet tea, then unsweetened tea served in a glass, along with a pack of sugar packets.

Instead I got a Pure Leaf 16.9 fl oz bottle that you can get at a corner store. I paid $5.34 for it at the restaurant. That was all I got, since I was accompanying a friend who was getting food there, and I got the tea while we waited for his food. My friend requested lemonade and he got a Minute Maid Lemonade Juice Drink 20oz Bottle, I don't know his cost. He tasted it but couldn't drink it, as he expected natural lemonade, not a store-bought one filled with preservatives. Unfortunately we ended up discarding the lemonade later.

As for me, I drank the tea, and wanted more. So after the restaurant tea experience, and getting our carry-out, we went across the street into 7-Eleven where I got two bottles of Pure Leaf 16.9 fl oz bottles for $4.28.

Being cost-conscious if I had to do it again, I'd buy my tea from 7-Eleven in the first place and avoid buying bottled tea from this restaurant.

Service was alright, but I wish I was informed that it's a bottled tea beforehand. Atmosphere was alright, but I questioned what else the restaurant may be skimping on as sweet tea is one of the main things I drink when I go out and my expectations...
