This was my second stop in my own personal tour in search of Miamis best smashed burger. Upon getting here the one obvious sore thumb is the parking. It was kinda hard finding a spot but eventually I found a spot. Once inside the staff was super friendly and immediately took our order. We got the cowy burger and the cabrito burger along with some bacon cheese fries. We waited a good 15 minutes for the food. Once we got it I saw why the place had so much hype. The burgers looked amazing! Once I tried the cowy burger I was instantly won over with its unique flavor and the perfect smashed patties I gave it a 10/10. Next we tried the fries however they were a bit cold and the cheese was room temperature so that was a bit of a bummer but flavor wise pretty good. Now comes the big yuck… the cabrito. I was excited to try this burger since it was recommended by the staff member but it was probably the first time in my life I got the ick from a burger. The first couple bites were good but once you get to that super strong goat cheese I was instantly turned off. The cheese was super potent and they put way too much between the patties completely overtaking the flavor which made me get completely icked halfway through. I had to chug the soda to get the flavor out of the mouth. So overall if you do come here which I do recommend you do you have to and must try the original cowy burger but stay away from the cabrito because it’s no good! It’s what kept me from having a 10/10 experience here.

Absolutely delicious smash burgers at Cowy Burger. Since it was my first time, I asked the waitress what she recommended, and she told me to get the cowy burger. I ordered it with a double Patty and also the waffle fries and sweet potato fries. When I first picked up the cowy burger, I noticed how soft the bun was, and that is one of my favorite parts of a good burger. The crispy edges of the patty were absolutely delicious and brought a nice crunchy contrast to the burger. The bacon jam and cowy sauce are absolutely delicious. The sauces on the burger allow for you to not need anything like ketchup or barbecue sauce because they pack enough flavor on their own. The regular waffle fries, we're crispy with soft insides to my liking, and the cilantro sauce that was accompanying was a great addition to the flavor. The sweet potato fries, however, were a bit tough to eat as they were chewy and honestly felt a bit stale. The flavor was solid in spite of the poor texture. The music was also a bit loud for such a small restaurant, so conversation was a bit cumbersome. Also the drink selection was very limited with only water and a couple soda options, so it would be nice for them to expand in that area. All in all, I would recommend eating at this place for the delicious smash burgers that have a unique look and flavor that you wouldn't find in many other places.

I finally made it to Cowy Burger and I like it overall. The restaurant is super clean, smells fresh regardless all the cooking and frying that’s is happening at their kitchen. I appreciate the effort they put to have a great ventilation system to remove most of the odors out. Kudos to them for that. For a Tuesday early evening, it had a good number of customers. I decided to settle with the Cowy burger, the waffle fries and their croquettes. The croquettes were my least favorites. They were ball-shaped as opposed to the conventional stick shape, which I found it innovative. They were crispy but the inside didn’t do it for me. The only flavor that came through was bacon, yes I know they were bacon croquettes but I think they were under seasoned and texture was way too gummy. Next time, I would rather to adventure with another item from their menu like the nachos or the tequeños. The fries were crispy, freshly fried, not oily and you can tell they change the oil pretty often. I enjoyed them. As for the burger, it was good but I wouldn’t say it is the best burger I have ever had. I think the price-quality-ratio is pretty favorable though.

Today, I visited Cowy Burger’s brick-and-mortar location in Wynwood for the first time, and I am thoroughly impressed. Having tried all the popular burger spots in Wynwood and Miami, I can confidently say this one tops them all. From the thoughtfully curated menu to the exceptional service, Cowy Burger stands out.

I ordered the OKC burger, and it was phenomenal. Cooked to perfection, the burger was warm and juicy with a perfectly balanced topping-to-meat ratio. The “meat candy” added great texture and flavor without overpowering the savory profile. For sides, I went with the waffle fries, which were crispy, light, and paired beautifully with their unique green sauce. I also tried the Tequeños, which were crispy, cheesy, and incredibly tasty—a must-try appetizer. Someone in my group ordered the sweet potato fries, and they were also excellent, especially with the accompanying dipping sauce.

Another highlight? They serve Coke Zero, which may seem like a small thing, but it’s surprisingly rare at trendy spots like this. It’s a thoughtful touch that adds to the overall experience.

From pricing to quality, Cowy Burger hits the perfect balance. If you’re in Wynwood looking for a burger joint that outshines the competition, this is the place to go. I can’t...
