This place is the worst! This is my second time dining here. Every year, around the same time, I visit Miami for a church conference. The conference usually lets out pretty late, so ihop it is! In 2021, we had a horrible experience. I thought maybe it was because we had a party of 8 late at night; it was a possible challenge. Well, fast forward to last night 3/25/23. It was just my husband and I. We had a very simple order and was the first of two other occupied tables. I ordered scrambled eggs without cheese. My eggs came with shredded cheese on top. Of course, I notified the waitress that I had eggs without cheese. She returns the dish to the kitchen and they scraped the cheese off top and flipped the eggs over. The waitress brought me the dish so fast I knew they hadn’t scrambled another egg that fast. I flipped the eggs over and could see the cheese that had melted and couldn’t be scraped off. This is sickening! I have an allergy! What if I hadn’t seen their laziness and had ingested the cheese?! They would be facing a huge lawsuit just because the chef was being lazy and didn’t want to redo what is probably the cheapest item in the kitchen! I would not recommend this place!
