I visited this shaved ice business with high expectations, but unfortunately, I encountered an extremely disappointing experience. The customer service was terrible, especially from the lady taking care of it. When my daughter received a shaved ice with the wrong flavor, I tried to explain the mistake kindly. However, the lady’s response was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She spoke to me in a loud voice and did not allow me to speak, constantly interrupting me. Instead of trying to solve the problem, she chose to yell at me, creating an uncomfortable and unpleasant situation. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any business, especially one that relies so much on customer satisfaction. Expect overpriced slurpees with bad customer service. The server was rude and borderline prejudiced. She chatted in Spanish with 2 men before us for 10 minutes while we waited in line to order and then when it was time for us, she yelled at us that it was closing time in Spanglish but we would be the last to be served. There was no closing sign which would be the most obvious thing to do instead of screaming at customers. Then another Spanish speaking family showed up behind us and she said ok to their order. Love Japow! The Strawberry Daifuku flavor is exceptional. One the best shaved ice I've ever had. It's so delicate, creamy, and delicious. The quality of the chocolate, the fresh strawberries , and mini mochi take it over the top. It's nice they use natural flavors. Loved the service. We had no idea what to order and the lady there helped us figure out what we should try by asking us if we preferred fruity or creamy flavors or both.
