Gave this place 2 attempts and they messed up both times. Will not return. First of all, I’m vegetarian and ordered one of the sandwiches without meat - no price adjustment at all which is annoying but I let it go both times. I didn’t want the veg option on the menu.
First time, on top of no meat, I paid extra to add extra veggies. Fine whatever. I take the sandwich home and none of the extra veggies I paid for were added that were clearly stated on the receipt. Had to go back for them to fix it. Normally would get over it but for the cost of a vegetarian sandwich that was ridiculous.
Second time I order a sandwich and chips for my husband. Get home and somehow they manage to forget the chips. They were closed by the time we realized so couldn’t go back.
No excuse for messing up these 2 simple orders. Plus, they really need a way to charge appropriately for a...
Read moreI decided to try out this place because I ate at the Italian restaurant in downtown Dadeland and thought it was pretty good. I ordered the Jholano sandwich based on the recommendation of an another Patron that was ordering one for himself. I was surprised to see that the menu did not have prices on it and then I was really surprised to see the sandwich was about $25. Once I got back to my office, I did enjoy the sandwich but I really don’t think it’s worth $25. I realize prices are going up for a lot of things these days but it just seems like the pricing is out of touch. A sandwich for lunch should not cost that much for a casual sandwich shop. The location is horrible as it’s in a outdated Brickell commercial building that you have to Hunt down to find it. I think this should be $19 on the high side at best. I probably will not be returning...
Read moreCheapest prosciutto ,salami, mortadella are used at Jholano’s Deli. Very thin layer of prosciutto and mortadella is put on a sandwich. Mozzarella they use is the lowest quality possible. Fig jam isn’t natural but marmelade with too much sugar. The only good thing is quality of bread ,which they do not make it there, therefore isn’t very fresh. This isn’t your Italian deli. You will pay low quality processed food that is very bad for you about $23 for panino/sandwich that is...
