Montana Mike's Steakhouse — Restaurant in Miami

If only there were negative stars. I'll start with the good, the rolls were good once we got them. Bad: everything else. The whole experience was a train wreck, I dont know if the server was on something or what but she was terrible, although she did smile and she was friendly. Our drinks went in, then came out after our appetizers 20 minutes after being seated. At this point I asked for a different server as ours had several tables going with a large party in the back. The hostess said sure, then we never saw her again. 20 minutes later our server popped by after we repeatedly flagged her for refills and to take our order. Then it was 30 minutes for that disaster of an overpriced meal. My wife and sister ordered filet mignon based on their good experience back in March, this time no luck one was boot leather the other was rare. Both were to be medium. I ordered catfish with steak, the fish wasn't cooked through it was mushy and the steak was well when I ordered medium rare. My brother ordered steak and chicken, with the steak medium, it was rare and the chicken wasn't cooked through. The questionable manager asked how our meal was as we asked for boxes, I said it was a train wreck, he asked if we would like another. At this point I bit my tongue and told him after waiting an hour on food and with the poor service, we were not waiting in it. He half laughed and walked away. So with this very unpleasant service I will not be back nor will anyone in my family. I pray corporate can clean this restaurant up as we used to look forward to visiting. Thanks for the worst dinner experience I've had in a long time and a very poor way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My recommendation to any who read this, pass it by there are far too many good to excellent restaurants in the area to waste...

Possibly the worst service I've had in my rather long life. Ordered appetizer when we ordered drinks. Eventually we were able to order entree. An hour and twenty-five minutes later, we finally received the last of what we actually ordered. In between, we were offered our appetizer - twice! Then offered the wrong entree. Then received the salad. Then waited. And waited. Then we were told the kitchen lost our order. Then he brought us "more rolls;" these were the first we had seen. Half an hour later, we received one correct entree and one incorrect entree. Had to wait 10 minutes for the waiter to come back to tell him it was incorrect - and he argued that it was correct. (It was a mushroom and swiss burger with bacon, but he insisted it was a "smash burger" with cream cheese and onion rings on the burger.) He finally agreed to "go check," without taking the wrong order with him. He NEVER returned. Finally contacted a manager who said it was being corrected. In the meantime, a family who came in after we ordered, had received and eaten their order and left the restaurant. The order that WAS "correct," was so salty it was almost inedible, and the "smothered in gravy" was perhaps one tablespoon of gravy that covered about one-third of the steak. The correct burger finally arrived AFTER my frustrated wife had already walked out. They agreed to box up her order, and told us our entire meal was free (at least they got that right). When my wife was finally able to eat her meal, it was so overcooked and salty, including the fries, that she couldn't eat it. We had to throw it out. The manager was apologetic, but seriously? It took them 35 minutes to make ONE burger AFTER telling us they were making it correctly. Obviously...

We had a concert tonight to go to that started at 7:30, and we get there at 5:30 with plenty of time to spare, we got right in and ordered. Half our group was there 5 minutes before us and already ordered and got there food 1 hour and a half later, we waited another thirty minutes after that. It took over 2 hours to get our food. When we got it, our meals were completely wrong and the food was cold and hard. I am not picky what so ever when it comes to food, but that food was gross. I have been here one other time and waited an hour in a half. So, both times I have been here I have not been impressed. To make matters worse, we asked how much longer on our food because we were in a hurry and the waitress said she doesn’t know. And she told us that we should of got here earlier so our food would be done. We got the check after 15 minutes of waiting, and the check was even wrong. Way overcharged us for what we got. We told her and she said be right back, so we waited and waited, and finally went in the back and said we need to leave, and they started to freak out and told us to just leave. I am not impressed what so ever. Food took 2 hours to come in, only one refill on drinks because the waitress was never there, food came out cold and totally wrong, and then check was totally wrong.
