One K Raw, let me tell you, the food was nothing short of amazing! From the appetizers to the main course, each dish was prepared with utmost care and attention to detail. The flavors were rich, and the presentation was impeccable. I couldn't get enough of the delicious food that was served to me.
The service was equally exceptional. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure that all my needs were met. The waiters (Teresa) were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. I felt well taken care of throughout my dining experience.
One of the highlights of my visit was the drinks and the Tuna Tar Tacos. The bar had an impressive selection of cocktails and beverages. The mixologists were skilled and crafted some of the most creative and refreshing drinks I've ever tasted. It was a true delight to sip on those delightful concoctions.
However, the only area that left me slightly disappointed was the music played in the outside bar; especially on Sundays. While the food, service, and drinks were top-notch, the music felt a bit lackluster. It didn't match the upbeat ambiance that the restaurant was trying to create. I felt that more energetic and lively music would have enhanced the overall atmosphere and attracted more customers to the outside bar.
Despite this small critique, I would highly recommend this restaurant for its amazing food, great service, and impressive drink selection. With a little improvement in the music department, it would be a perfect dining experience. I will definitely be returning for another memorable meal in the...
Read moreWe didn't have a reservation, so my mom and I were staying at the hotel around the corner. We usually make reservations wherever we go. Exploring restaurants worldwide is our dynamic. We asked the waitress to surprise us with the best the restaurant had to offer. "It's challenging for me to choose between the dishes because I truly like everything, and there's something to choose based on each day. Let me know if any of my choices don't suit you, and I'll gladly ask the manager to remove them from the bill."
Theresa was right. The tuna tartacos weren't just any taco. It was an explosion of flavors between sweet and salty, reminiscent of tastes I've only experienced in Peru. Then came the ceviche, neither sweet nor acidic—just a perfect ceviche.
For the main courses, we had the mussels, the waitress's favorites. I understand why. The best broth I've had in a long time. And not to mention the meat pasta. Once again, just as she had expressed it, "a pasta you won't find anywhere else."
10/10 for the restaurant. For its spectacular service. The ambiance. And its story. Because Theresa told us that, initially, it was part of the protocol to say "welcome home," but she didn't do it out of protocol; she genuinely felt this place was her home.
Congratulations to the chef as well. We heard you're on vacation—well-deserved. We hope to return soon, from Dubai.
Thanks, Theresa, for all your recommendations and kindness.you have a genuine spark...
Read moreMy SO and I visited this restaurant for a date night yesterday. The first thing we noticed was the booming music playing from the outside bar, which made it difficult to hear even from our indoor corner table, though the decor was nice. As we were seated we were asked if we were ready to order, and when we said no the server quickly left us without an opportunity to request drinks. It took another 15 minutes for a different server to approach for us to be able to ask for water, and we ordered the Salmon and the Ragu. I asked if it was possible to substitute the quinoa for rice, but was given an unsure, "probably not" response which I accepted. The wait for the food was very short, which we appreciated and was probably the best part of our visit. Unfortunately though, neither of us enjoyed the food itself. The salmon tasted a bit off and the quinoa and carrots included weren't to my taste. The ragu had a sour taste to it and was drowning in bread crumbs and cheese. We didn't even have a chance to share our thoughts with anyone as the only further interaction we had with our waiter during this time was a thumbs up from him as he rushed past our table on one occasion. We both only ended up eating a small portion of our meals, and it took another 25 minutes after we decided we were done to finally catch our waiter's attention from across the room so we could get the bill. Then, around $85 later, we left sadly unsatisfied...
