Beyond 5-Star Review for The Knife Parrilla Argentina. A must come and enjoy place when you visit Miami solo, with family or friends!
My dining experience at The Knife Parrilla Argentina nestled on the second floor of the Bayside Market in Downtown Miami was exceptional, earning every bit of its beyond five star review!
Mi experiencia gastronómica en The Knife Parrilla Argentina, ubicado en el segundo piso del Bayside Market en el centro de Miami, fue excepcional y se ganó cada parte de su reseña de cinco estrellas.
We started off with warm, toasty, tasty buns and Cuevas del Sur Cabernet Sauvignon 2024 recommended by our attentive server Alex. A selection of wines and beers are included in the very reasonable per person buffet price. Truly amazing for downtown Miami.
From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and inviting aroma of sizzling Argentine-style grilled meats set the stage for an unforgettable afternoon.
The manager, Niudys, was absolutely fantastic. Her attentive presence and genuine passion for ensuring every guest felt welcomed made a lasting impression. She seamlessly orchestrated the afternoon, checking in with a warm smile and ensuring every detail was perfect. Her leadership clearly inspires the team, as the service was flawless.
Our servers, Alex and Eduardo, were phenomenal. Alexās enthusiasm and knowledge of the wine selections and menu made every recommendation spot-on, including the perfectly charred and delicious empanada to the perfectly made American style French fries. He was attentive without being intrusive, always anticipating our needs. Eduardo matched this energy with his charm and efficiency, keeping my glass filled and plates cleared with a friendly demeanor that made feel like a regular. Eduardo and I shared stories during the meal which was enjoyable.
Their teamwork created a dining experience that felt both polished and personal in the middle of bustling Bayside. I fell in love with the empenada and it was only an appetizer. And the views of the marina and ferris wheel were perfect!
Next course was the cream of broccoli soup which was as good as my granny's homemade soups, and that says a lot.
The dishes at the salad bar were fragrant and delicious with a mouth watering aroma I have never experienced in my global travels sampling South American buffets. The cevice was cosmic.
In fact, my taste buds got lost in the flavours of each unique Argentinian dish I sampled at the cold salad bar. By the end of the cold bar selections, I literally had to take a break before the meat selections, my tastebuds and tummy being well satisfied.
Arriving at the made to order meat grill, the delicious meat flavours were flying in the air, my eyes were pleasantly shocked at the huge grill selection, but my stomach 'gas gage' was getting very close to full and I have no reserve stomach tank!
I asked Eduardo my server about the grill selections and asked him to talk to the Chefs to provide a very modest sampling of the meats. Eduardo tells me the Chefs are really generous all the time. If he is correct, is it possible certain guests have 3-4 stomachs to fit all these delicacies in? Just joking. The clientele was all very well dressed and well mannered enjoying the delicicies at a South American dining pace.
The grilled meats were fabulous. Fresh, tender, juicy! I thanked the animal Spirits for their lives and the amazing meal. The grill Chefs prepared the cuts perfectly.
All the food was an Argentinian masterpieceāeach dish bursting with authentic Argentine flavors, from the tender, smoky cuts of meat to everything I sampled.
I had zero room for the desserts, but no doubt they were equally delightful.
Ok, ok. Eduardo, talked me into vanilla and chocolate ice cream for dessert.
The Knife isnāt just a restaurant; itās a celebration of Argentine culture and tastes, brought to life by Niudys, Alex, Eduardo, and their incredible team.
I canāt wait to return with my film cast and crew during the filming of thELight I (tm) film Miami scenes in late September, early...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my first visit ever to The Knife, and on my local friendās recommendation we chose it over Texas de Brazil because it is not as pricey, it is elegant and dessert and a bottle of wine are included in the price. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the view of the harbor and the setup of the buffet were elegant. I used to be a huge fan of Texas de Brazil, because that was the only steak house I had visited of its kind. I know it is Brazilian, and The Knife is Argentinian, but there are other differences in the designs of both restaurants that are not culturally based. While I missed the Brazilian cheese bread and the blue cheese and grape salad, The Knife had gracious servers. Ours visited our table about 11 times and kept our drinks topped off and our table cleared. She served us with a smile, unlike at Texas de Brazil, where the cowboy servers come across as macho. That works for many clients. But my friends and I responded well to our smiling servers at The Knife. Our friends live in Miami and ordered in Spanish. Appetizers were included in the price, and our friend ordered papas provenciales (see photo). If youāre a garlic fries fan, these will send you to foodie heaven. Iām not sure theyāre on the menu. You donāt have to wait for someone to come by with a skewer of meat, at The Knife you go and choose whatever you like fresh from the barbecue. And what a vast array! Everything we ate was good. My steak and pork were delectable. We all had something different and agreed it was all good. Our local friends ordered off the menu again and asked for queso, and the gentlemen manning the barbecue put metal bowls of provolone sprinkled with a bit of parsley in the oven. It came to the table melted and ready to spread on my bread. I soaked the roll in steak juice, spread it with the melted provolone and my mouth did a happy dance. The salad bar was indescribable, because it had things Iād never seen before, all delicious. My favorites were the tiny blue cheese rolls, with a mixture of olive bits rolled in thin layers of cake; and the Russian potato salad. There were also a lot of veal and chicken dishes there. I think we saw shrimp cocktail, too. Of note, the mojito my husband ordered was āgreatā, and strong he says. It was not included in the price but he found it worth it. At the end of the meal, we chose from about twenty dessert offerings and ordered cortaditos and Americanos, included in the price. We sat next to the window, watching a brilliant pink Miami sunset, and felt totally relaxed. The restaurant was never very crowded, even though it was a Friday night. So, if you want an intimate date with a foodie, this is a...
