Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Middletown

This is my 2nd visit to this location I haven’t been to Chili’s since I moved from New York over a decade ago so I was excited to revisit. The Middletown location is on the small side but the services and food over compensates for its size ! We went last night for a night out anniversary dinner and to watch the game and man we had such an amazing experience!!!! We sat at the bar and to our surprise they had a late night happy hour special so that was a nice bonus ! Our bartender was Jem he was awesome ! So friendly and attentive even though you could see he was busy he was knocking everything out with ease ! I have worked in the industry and can appreciate great customer service as it’s sadly rare to come by now days. You could tell the team works well with each other everyone was helping each other out with smiles. The food ….. aw man let’s get into the Food whoever the kitchen staff was on 9/19 around 830 pm killed it! Visited the Chili's in Middletown, DE today. We were impressed with the interior of the restaurant. Our server somehow balanced working the bar along with handling our order. He was assisted by two other staff members and service was timely.

We started out with chips n salsa, always a goid choice. Some sticker shock since price was now 6.99, previously as I recall at another Chili's in Delaware it was 3.99 but that was two years ago. We had the margarita of the day, which was strawberry...and delicious. While the Presidente Margarita is superb, this choice was also quite good...and $6 with the all day Sunday happy hour.

My companion chose the Southwest egg rolls as their main course and was pleased. I chose the Bacon Cheeseburger and was also pleased, thinking it compared favorably to a Red Robin bacon cheeseburger.

Portion sizes at Chili's are generous, so dessert was not gonna happen. We will be back to this location, conveniently located across from Texas Roadhouse in...

So we went to dinner around 7:30 tonight and I’ve definitely gotta say everything we had was amazing as a executive chef and going to a what would be considered chain restaurant the food was on point and unlike no other chilis might be the same menu as other chilis but the food was awesome. I had the simplistic yet original Mushroom and Swiss and the smash burger was righteously juicy and flavorful. My lovely girlfriend had the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla and it was awesome with the taco spices inside it was a burst of flavor also I cannot forget to mention the street corn (On the cob) it was great and super flavorful and sings with spanish spices making my mouth water. Our Waitress was “Lys” an awesome down to earth charismatic waitress with a great attitude for the restaurant community we need more waitresses like her in this world. Thank you for an...
