I ordered a bowl online at 8:15. the app told me it would be ready 8:50 a.m. The store told me the order printed at 8:20 a.m. When I found out pickup was 8:50 I immediately canceled cause I was not able to make it at that time. I called the store to verify. They said online orders can only be refunded via email. When I emailed they informed me of my order print time and that the bowl was already in the process of being made. It is their policy not to refund when orders are made. I would not receive my $16. They did however tell me I could pick up my bowl this afternoon. So I get my $16 dollar bowl that was made this morning at 8:20 a.m. this afternoon. Are they making me a fresh bowl? It's just been sitting in the fridge all day? What's the banana going to look like? Is this issue resolved? I guess it is. $16 dollars for a bowl that has been sitting for 7 hours. Maybe they made me a fresh one, but if that were the case wouldn't it be easier to just refund me so I could spend that $16 at a later day at playa bowls? Very disappointed by this entire process. If they made me a new bowl I will happily accept it. (but why not just refund me) If I receive the bowl that has been sitting for 7 hrs, well that in itself is disturbing. I will update this review after I find out.
Update, I am not going to pick up my $16 bowl after 7hrs. I'm sure it is being refrigerated but I just have to chalk this up as a loss and mistake on me. I will leave this 1 star review because I still feel like they could have refunded me my $16.
I can't say that I won't go back, cause the bowls are fantastic!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I walked over to playa bowls in Middletown with our dog, then we noticed that there was a sign that said no dogs allowed so I sat outside while My wife ordered. When she came back out She said it was weird that it was a warm bowl instead of A frozen one. So I went back in and asked if we can get the same thing just as a frozen bowl and they couldnāt give us another bowl, but thatād Iād have to buy a new one. Then I asked if I could get a refund instead (after all it is 80 degrees in the middle of august, I donāt think I can stomach hot oatmeal) and they said Iād have to contact the website.
So here I am⦠I understand there are certain rules for refunds and remakes, I work at the Starbucks down the street as a supervisor, so I understand store policies. But I do think itās a little ridiculous that there was not even an attempt to be made to help us out, itās a hot day, we needed to sit outside since we had our dog. I donāt think the girls working REALLY cared⦠I asked if there was a supervisor I could talk to and the supervisor was Addison and she was nice⦠but she said there was nothing she could do, to me, with that kind of role itās expected That some action will be taken to help the customer out.
We didnāt eat more than a bite before asking for a refund, either itās not like I ate the entire thing before bringing it back in. We usually really enjoy splitting a bowl every now and then but if the store is not going to make any effort to help me out I donāt feel inclined to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI canāt stop š going backāthese bowls are downright addictive! Every bite feels like a perfect balance of flavor and freshness, and I love that I can indulge without the guilt. My husband and I have tried so many varieties, but my go-to is the vibrant pitaya base. The combo of chilled, juicy fruit, crunchy granola, and just the right drizzle of golden honey šÆ is absolute heaven.
Even my husbandāwhoās never really been a ābowlā guyāis hooked. His Nutella bowl obsession is so real, heās the one suggesting we go grab some! Thatās when you know itās good.
And itās not just the bowls⦠the juices are next-level too. The ginger shots give you that fiery kick of energy, while the watermelon š and green barrel juices are crisp, refreshing, and ridiculously good.
If you havenāt tried it yetātrust me, go. Youāll be just as...
