The food here is wonderful and I love the chain and this specific location for that matter. However- the water carafes are so disgusting. We pointed out the sludge inside of ours, my partner and surrounding folks were already drinking. (I could see it in theirs too) we got a replacement, and actual food bits and sludge/mold on the outside. Our server didn’t come back w the food I believe expo delivered it so I had to go in to request sodas, we’re not drinking from that. We let her know quietly as to not alarm other guests but she was just “ok” I guess I should have pointed this out to management, it’s not me being fickle, it’s an actual health concern. They reuse these bottles and set them on the table, running them through the same dishwasher as everything else. These washers in the industry kick up water and gets gross stuff trapped in bottles like this that have a slim neck. Like a baby bottle, they actually need a brush scrubbed into it to get it clean and that’s clearly not happening. And doesn’t make since to either in a high volume dish pit. They do however need a different vessel- it’s not working. And we were charged 3.89 for each drink that we got half way through service, and didn’t even want them we were just thirsty and water wasn’t an option. I would come back, with my own bottled water though? I LOVE their food and other wise think it’s sanitary there, but this is slipping by and by my servers response, we were brushed off and the concern didn’t stick. Hopefully this review alerts the...
Read moreA great experience for brunch. The menu has many offerings, especially for someone who has a gluten allergy. Their allergen menu is downloadable, and very comprehensive for common allergens.
I ordered from the summer menu. I ordered the HACIENDA HASH. Delicious! It contains: Chorizo, red bell pepper and potato hash topped with two cage-free eggs any style, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, spicy ketchup, lime crema drizzle, fresh smashed avocado and scallions. I would definitely order this again!
My husband ordered BISCUITS & TURKEY SAUSAGE GRAVY. He is a gravy conoseur, and declared this biscuits and gravy combination very good. The order contained: One large freshly baked buttermilk biscuit split in two with homestyle turkey sausage gravy, two cage-free eggs any style and a side of fresh, seasoned potatoes.
Or friend ordered the CHICKICHANGA, which is one of his favorites. It is whipped eggs with spicy all-natural white-meat chicken, chorizo sausage, green chilies, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla. Topped with Vera Cruz sauce and sour cream. Served with fresh fruit and fresh, seasoned potatoes.
The atmosphere is perfect for breakfast with friends, family or even a brunch date. The service was very good. Overall, a great...
Read moreIn one word - Disappointing. Clearly the restaurant was more concerned with looking good (hefty flatware, fancy plates, and contemporary decor) rather than actually being good. Server was clearly going through the motions and didn’t much care. Forget about refill or being checked on before the meal is done. Then comes the food. Husband got the million dollar bacon which was nice and thick cut. I had the bacon that came with the trifecta meal. It was thin and mostly fat. It tased like value brand microwave bacon. The waffle was decent but the berry topping was served in the smallest ramekin I’ve ever seen. And it was about half full at that. Would have asked for more but again server didn’t come back until we were finished eating. Too bad my husband drank his soda before the meal arrived because the food runner dropped off the food and he or the server didn’t care enough to get him a refill. I had the coffee which was mediocre, a bit acidic or slightly burnt. Also, I do not understand serving water in a carafe with no ice when the water is room temperature. What is up with that? All in all, the food was edible but not notable and the service was lacking. Save your money and go to Wild Eggs a mile up the road. Servers there are spectacular and the food never...
