UPDATE: The manager of this location did call me this evening to talk to me about the situation. She was apologetic about the situation and offered to replace our meal if we would like to give them another opportunity. I greatly appreciate the responsiveness of this person. Thank you.
INITIAL REVIEW:
I don’t think I have ever left a negative review on social media before. If I have, it’s been a really long time. The situation we experienced tonight warrants a response.
Our family went through the drive-through tonight at the Wendy’s in Middletown, KY on the way to an event. We experienced terrible customer service by the person taking our order. The person was rude and acted like she could care less about taking our order.
There was missing food. We discovered that the burger in a kids meal was still FROZEN.
To top that off, when I called to speak to someone at the store the phone line was busy. It has been busy for the past hour.
We have eaten at this Wendy’s location many times with no issue. Never again will we eat there.
Wendy’s corporate has been contacted already about our experience. This was one of the worst, if not worst, experiences I have ever had with a...
Read moreMy recent visit to Wendy's was nothing short of a gastronomic revelation. From the moment I stepped in, the attentive staff provided a level of service that surpassed all expectations. They graciously escorted me to my table, ensuring I was settled and comfortable. Their genuine warmth and dedication to ensuring every guest had a memorable experience set the tone for what turned out to be an extraordinary meal.
The food at Wendy's was nothing short of a masterpiece. Every dish was a symphony of flavors, prepared with the utmost care and using the freshest ingredients. From classic comfort fare to innovative culinary creations, the menu offered a diverse range of options to cater to all palates. What truly set this dining experience apart was the unexpected delight of complimentary caviar. This unexpected treat showcased Wendy's commitment to going the extra mile for their guests. The caviar was a testament to their culinary prowess - exquisitely rich and decadent, elevating the entire dining experience to a whole new level. Wendy's has certainly earned its place as one of the best dining establishments I've ever had the pleasure...
Read moreThey are still drive through only, and that's would be fine... if it didn't take 20+ minutes to get your food. It's funny how other places can have a line wrapped around the block and get you through in no time, but here it takes 20 minutes when there are only 5 cars in front of you. They also haven't been sealing their Door Dash orders lately. This may or may not be a requirement, but it's worth noting that literally every other place I've been to seals their bags/boxes. For context, I'm a driver, not a customer. 20 minutes to get an order is awful. And then for it to be unsealed on top of that is just plain unacceptable. Drivers do not get paid to wait, so this loses me a pretty substantial amount of income when I have 2-3 orders from the same store a day, waiting 20+ minutes each time.
The staff seems friendly and polite enough, but that isn't the only thing you need when running a restaurant. My advice would be to unlock the doors and allow delivery drivers to be able to park and come inside to pick up orders. Or have a dedicated parking spot for drivers like some of the competing fast food chains have...
