Read moreThis location used to be good. I recently ordered their Honey Crispers, Chicken Bacon Quesadilla, Chicken Enchilada Soup, Street Corn and Fries with a few sides to go. I arrived on time and went through the To Go door. Several employees were sitting around chatting with one another and I got walked past multiple times. After a few minutes a gentleman had came by and asked if we've been helped then proceeded to help. Now for the food which is actually the reason for the rating. Honey Crispers: These used to be really good and had a light crispy batter to them. They're now the equivalent of Carl's Jr Chicken Tenders, breading n all. Chicken Bacon Quesadilla: tasted like a Del Taco Chicken Quesadilla w/ bacon. Point being it wasn't restaurant quality but still decent. Chicken Enchilada Soup: Absolutely disgusting. Tasted very old and the quality on the chicken was embarrassing. I am 100% confident it was canned chicken. After a couple bites I tossed the soup. Street Corn: seemed like they were trying to mimic an Elote and I'm not sure who thought this was a good idea because it tasted like plain corn on the cob with some paprika. Nothing close. Fries were soft. Sides that were requested were missing.
The drive is literally 2minutes from my house so I know the quality couldn't have been compromised too much from point A to B (french fries and quesadilla). It's differed sooooo much since a few years ago. I wish I could say, "maybe it was an off day" but.. I guess I'm just a little disappointed in the quality and taste. I know it's not necessarily the workers fault. It seems like making the call to cut quality is a corporate decision if not a higher up. Welp I guess I'll try again in a few years. Good luck.
Side note: the pic displayed was an old review (when the place was good). Those fried pickles were yummy.
Edit: Thanks for reaching out! No worries, it happens. No need to make up for the experience....
Read morePretty irked by the "to-go" process. The website check-in, the courtesy text message, and the sign in the parking lot all indicated that you should wait in your car and they will bring your food to you. "Sit back and relax, we'll come to you". Well, they didn't come to me. I saw a few other to-go customers arrive and walk in and come back out with their food. This caused me to wonder if they were really going to bring the food out or not, but I had not yet received a text that indicated that my order was ready, so I figured they must just be behind schedule and I tried to be patient. Finally, when the food was 20 minutes overdue, I decided to call the number included in the courtesy text. I would have just-as-soon gone in, but I'm literally just following THEIR directions in the text, "Call --** w/ questions". So I called, waited on hold for nearly 10 minutes only to have the recording tell me "A technical error has occurred, we're sorry." So then I went in, half expecting them to say something like, "We're sorry, the kitchen is a little behind schedule, just go back to your vehicle and we'll bring it to you when it is ready." Instead, the food was there on the rack ready to go and had been for quite some time. No employee bringing it out to the car. No follow-up text to indicate that the order was ready. It very much feels like I got punished for following their directions. I mean, sheesh, I'm not that lazy, I would have happily (or preferably) walked inside from the get-go except everything was telling me not to and I didn't want to be one of those impatient customers that can't follow simple directions.
Chili's: by teaching people to ignore your instructions you are fostering a dismissive mindset that contributes to many of society's problems. Just, like, change your signs and the wording of your text messages...
