Always good here. With excellent service. šš
(UPDATE 2023 October 15 review )
Ambiance was nice 4stars. Service waitress and staff was good 4. Stars. Food we ordered meal 1(Long Horn burger) was overcooked and they put bacon on it,when we specifically said on the side.Rate that 2star. Meal 2 (chicken strips and fries)my daughter liked it so i give that a 5 stars rating. My appetizer the (long horn chicken wings) were underwhelming. The wings tasted precooked and they were dry and too salty. I rate the wings here on a scale from 1 -5 star a 1 star. Don't get the wings at long horn straight trash, not fresh and over cooked. Meal 3 ( long horn steak tips) Where do i begin. Steak tips were tiny and cut up into pieces smaller than a quarter, some as thin as french fry. They tasted more steamed than grilled or seared. They were lukewarm like my food was sitting. They wasn't hot like fresh off the grill. I ordered these without onions, mushrooms & gravy. So why is it so hard to make steak tips. Whoever they hired as the grill guy here needs to be fired. He cant cook. I ordered my steak tip's medium well and majority of them were well done on top of being almost cold. Even majority of the fries were cold. This was a Sunday evening here so not sure whats up with the food getting cold. It was my girlfriend's birthday so I didn't make a big deal. Normally I would have sent the wings back to the trash. Same for the cold tips and reordered the burger, but I didn't want to ruin the vibe. I rate the long horn steak tips from 1-5 stars a rating of 0 stars. Straight meh... Overall the Chicken strips and fries here 5 stars. If you want a good dessert come here for the chocolate stampede cake thingy. It's worth it. 5 stars for that. That was the highlight of our entire meal. Chicken wings NO!!...Burgers make sure they don't hockey puck it. So be careful ordering a burger here. Cant speak for the steak but Don't!! ever ever ever ever ever....make the mistake and order steak tips at this restaurant. You will regret it if you know what real steak tips are. I do this so you know what not to order at this place. IM OUT!!!! Stay hungry my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI debated whether or not to even write this review, but ultimately decided I needed to. My daughter & I went to LorgHorn for a Mother's Day lunch. The wait was about 40 minutes, which was completely understandable or should I say would have been if the food was worth it! I ordered Prime Rib, my daughter Salmon. When my meal arrived, the meat looked strange. It didn't even resemble what a Prime Rib actually looks like normally. My daughter commented that it appeared to be "mutant." It had a funny smell to it and after I tried a piece it tasted weird. Our waiter asked how our meal was as he was running by. As I was beginning to tell him, he kept on going. My daughter and I laughed because it was so outrageous. I sat there and attempted to at least eat the broccoli. The broccoli was so hard you could have used it for dipping! Finally, after another 15 minutes or so, our waiter came by again and this time I was able to grab him and sit him down next to me. I told him to take a look at the meat and then had him feel the broccoli. He apologized and asked if I'd like another one to go. I never take the quality of the food out on the servers and was happy to receive another. I figured I'd have it for dinner the following day. To my surprise, he even took my meal off the bill! I wasn't looking for a free meal, just something good reflecting the price, but was happy just the same. Now, I never even looked at the new Prime Rib I took to go so when I opened it the next day I was appalled to see it resembled the same piece I had the day prior. It smelled funny and let's just say I didn't even try it this time. My little Chihuahua wouldn't even eat it! I'm not sure what's going on with this restaurant, but all I can say is I will NEVER eat there again! They need to seriously take a look at what they're serving customers and care about it. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant and believe me,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst off my waitress was awesome. Polite and very friendly. I had a party of 3, one being an 8 year old who stated as we were driving up that she didn't like anything they had. As it turns out she is now in love with the loaf of bread and butter that is served. She also devoured her steak. So I'd say she gave it a 10. My GF ordered a medimun well filet and the lobster tail. The steak was cooked to perfectly for her and was tender and very tasty. As for the lobster she took one bite then put it on my plate. Which was weird because she loves lobster. When I tried one bite I understood. First off, the lobster was cooked to perfection. Plump, moist and not chewy. The problem was it was way over seasoned with pepper. So much so it overwhelmed everything else. I order the porterhouse, medium rare. The steak came and it was cooked perfectly. The only problem was it had a burnt taste. I'm still not sure how that was possible, but it did. Maybe the grill wasn't cleaned good enough between steaks. I also ordered a baked potato. It was still crunchy inside and not cooked all the way. My waitress offered to replace the potato and the lobster, but due to time I politely told her no. She did take the lobster off the bill even though I told her not to, so my complements to her and Longhorn. I dont complain for free food or anything. As you can see there were a lot of positives with the meal, but if the chef doesn't know when things are not right how is he ever supposed to correct them. I will come back to longhorn in the future. It is a great place with a...
