It took 58 minutes to receive our burgers on a day that was not busy at all. The server took our drink order and returned back with the cups dripping wet with soda spilled all down the sides and all over her hands. We requested all burgers be cooked med well. One of the burgers was the A.1. Peppercorn burger. It was burnt black to a crisp and had absolutely no taste of A.1. or the peppercorn spread. For those who have had A.1. , It definitely has a distinct taste. Another order was the kids pizza, what a mistake we made. Of course I get it, you go to a burger shop and get pizza and its horrible no surprise. It was like a soggy napkin. The food was brought out by our server, who didn't bring napkins and was doing a disappearing act most of the time. Now we waited an hour for the food and 90% was wrong, overcooked, flavorless and had then we had to look around and wait another 20 minutes just for someone to come over to switch the pizza out. Completely inedible for a child. So we switched out the soggy pizza for chicken tenders. Now I could cook chicken tenders at home in the oven quicker then these cooks could drop a frozen piece in the fryer!! Literally another 25 minutes just for tenders!! At this point we had already been there for 1 hr and 45 minutes. The mention on how black the burgers were, not just grill marks, like charcoal black was dismissed and nothing was done to fix or compensate us. Now we have been here before and it wasn't as bad of an experience, but the burgers aren't anything special. Pretty flavorless and not just a quick 45 minutes in and out deal, you will be waiting awhile. At the end when the tenders came out a older women with short hair, I'm guessing the manger came over to apologize. She apologized for the long wait time it took for the tenders to come out and for the soggy pizza. She said sorry like 5 times and took off the pizza from the bill. You could tell she wasn't happy with her cooks or servers. I guess it comes down to the fact that I paid $80 for a meal that was not a memorable experience and I spent over 2 hrs here. To be honest it seems as though the staff and cooks don't have a clue and aren't well trained. With five guys and several restaurants near by they better step it up before the competition...

My family has been going to this Red Robin since it opened. College, marriage, children - we’ve enjoyed eating here at all phases of our lives. We learned over time that Friday-Sunday are the days to visit as the kitchen is busy but the food is freshest. Vegetarians and meat eaters alike can find something to enjoy. We don’t go often anymore, but had reason to go out to a late lunch today. Since there aren’t any other good table service options in the shopping plaza, and we like Red Robin’s food, we decided to swing by for a quick lunch to save ourselves time at home. Boy was that a mistake. Our total time at the restaurant was 90 minutes and it was a slowwww 90 minutes. We opted to sit outside as it was a nice day and figured we’d been forgotten about, but our server finally came out and apologized for the wait. We were ready to order so we put it all in at once. 15 minutes passed… 30 minutes passed… It started to rain, we were offered a table indoors. After about an hour at the restaurant, our food arrived. To their credit it was hot and tasty. We immediately put in for refills on our bottomless sides, knowing how long it would likely take to see those refills. Our family inhaled the meals we’d been waiting so long for and asked for the check when someone came over because after another half an hour - our refills weren’t coming and we weren’t waiting. The food is the only thing getting this restaurant above one star right now. The customer service, while apologetic (sometimes), was horrible. They used to at least offer you a bottomless side while you waited, this time eye contact was even too much to ask. The staff seems nice but overworked. I don’t understand why because the restaurant was not all that busy. I hope this isn’t the beginning of the end for our beloved local RR…but we feel like...
Read moreFor the most part my family and I enjoy Red Robin’s, service is usually good, food is always how it is requested, the place is usually busy. We visited a few days ago and we were not impressed at all, we were disappointed. Our server seemed distracted. I was placing my order and he stated “you want your burger like a hockey puck, you can’t do that to a burger” at first I thought he was kidding (he wasn’t) he was clear and made it a point again. I explained to him I wanted my burger extra well done no juice burnt that’s the way I like it and if they were unable to cook it to my liking then to cancel my order. I received an eye roll. Our drinks we waited a while our courtesy fries he walked by us twice and offered them to us but continued to forget them, only forks and a couple of napkins for a table of 4 adults and a toddler. Food is out my burger is not cooked properly I had to ask for a knife in order to cut it, everything (all the hot plates) were placed in front of the toddler. The minute the knife hit the burger all the juice 🥴 started spilling into my plate very unpleasant for me. It took a while before we saw him again, he finally came by I expressed to him I wanted my burger burnt no juice and he could see how juicy this burger was, he said “ I’ll take it back I’ll have them remake it and if you don’t like it you can deal with them” Burger comes back pilled with cheese (really) at this point I was all set. Server came to our table to ask if we were all set and wanted boxes and our check as we were still waiting for napkins and refills on drinks for over 10 minutes and he had forgotten. Not impressed nor happy...
