The Shops at Blackstone Valley — Local services in Millbury

This location was very clean and neat and orderly. Customer service was pretty good from the floor associates. Though I didn't end up getting to the cashiers because I didn't find anything due to the lack of selection and product line. I feel like Target is like a luxury Walmart but with half the product line and more expensive products. They have really nice products but they seem to be a little bit on the pricey side and what they do have is very minimal. I was looking for some camera accessories very basic ones like a memory card but one specifically designed for a photography with high write speeds and I believe a lens cover and a tripod. They had maybe five types of SD cards that none of which met the standards in which I was looking for so I didn't purchase any of them they had no lens covers whatsoever and only one style tripod in stock and it wasn't what I was looking for. That's not to say that somebody else won't go in there looking for something specific and find it but unless it's like aftershave or deodorant or some sort of shampoo this is not really a place you would go to hoping to find something specific. Sporting goods is about a half an hour worth of stuff. Health and fitness is about one aisle worth of stuff about 100 ft long. I was actually pretty blown away by how little of a selection they had. And it wasn't that there was hooks that were empty it was that what they had was what they had which was...

Hate the way it was rearranged. Ladies lingerie section the worst. They have improved the selection of clothing finally though and that was good. Finally!! The make-up section needed improvement. Lots of the selection within the individual brands is not stocked. Food, I don't know, I don't buy food at Target. (Too expensive of a store for that) If you wanted self checkout, there was a limit on the # of items you could have. BRAVO!!!!! Everyone should do that. Limit the items to cut back on the theft from those self checking out full carts! Took too long for help at the check out register when there was an error. Too important for the workers to talk to each other because there was 2 of them. Easier for them to ignore the woman calling them and us who were waiting for over what felt like 5 minutes while they finished their conversation. Nordstrom Rack has amazing deals on their stuff... NIKE, AQUASWISS WATCHES, ETC... Especially if you shop using the App or the Nordstrom Rack website!!! Colors, sizes, and styles vary from day-to-day depending on whether or not you are shopping in-store or online. However, the prices on MOST of their name brands are usually at least 1/2 the price you will pay for the exact same or extremely similar merchandise if you shop at all the other Blackstone Valley retail stores (excluding other off-price retailers like Marshalls and TJ Maxx) The Rack's merchandise is usually current Nordstrom overstock or last seasons Merch that Nordstrom wasn't able to sell out of. While it is a little more expensive, you do feel that you are shopping for better-quality, more fashionable, and definitely more exclusive products at the Rack compared to most Off-price retailers... So, While its premise is the same as TJ Maxx's, Nordstrom Rack is a more upscale version. Go check it out...
