Food here is 3 stars worthy. I've been here a lot, both for the buffet, the sweets/cakes, and just to order. Overall, it's OKAY. The best way to come is for the buffet, it's a good value and variety. Otherwise, I don't think this restaurant is worth the money due to the quality of dishes just being more or less average.
Butter Chicken - 5/10. The first bites impress, it's thick and very nutty. After a while it becomes bland and much less interesting. Great butter chickens stay consistently delicious to the end, this one doesn't. The chicken in the curry is tender but the flavor of it is weird and doesn't compliment the curry at all. I ended up picking it out.
Garlic naan - 10/10. It's a bit thinner than I'd like but they are GENEROUS with the ghee and garlic, it goes down so smoothly and deliciously. The naan is excellent.
Tandoori Chicken - 2/10. Well priced at $4 for a chicken quarter but mine was so overcooked way past the point of tender which is easy to do given it's a smaller size quarter, but the real issue is the flavoring. It's WAY WAY over flavored. To the point of being inedible. It's hard to eat because the whole time you're having wincing because the flavoring is so unbelievably strong. It's been like this each times I've had it. It's not good at all. Less is more guys, cut the marinade down.
Cakes - 8/10. They have a wide variety and they're all pretty good.
Overall it's a bit sad when the thing you enjoy most at an Indian restaurant is the naan, or their cakes and not the actual Indian dishes. The buffet is worth a try but...
Read moreGreat Experience! I’m from the East Coast and wanted to try this restaurant with my family while visiting. A friend had recommended their biryanis, so we ordered a variety of dishes since we had a large group — and every single one was excellent! Our favorite was the Biriyani and rare Gongura Paneer curry, but honestly, every dish was cooked to perfection. Usually in a big group there are a few favorites and some just “okay” items, but here everything was equally delicious — we even had to order extra portions of a few curries!
My kids also picked some cookies from the display, and they were so fresh — straight out of the oven! We later learned there’s another location near our family’s house that offers even more bakery items along with the same amazing food.
We’ll definitely be visiting this restaurant on every trip —...
Read moreThis review is for Jains & Pure vegetarians. I went to the restaurant for a weekday lunch buffet. Everything was good until I tried a piece of Gobi Manchurian that Gobi Manchurian had a very strong fishy taste, so it seems like the Veg Manchurian was fried in the same oil as fish was. Being a Jain vegetarian that was so disgusting. I told the staff about this issue, they said they will convey to the kitchen. I was actually enjoying the buffet until I had that fishy, Gobi Manchurian. I’m sure the non vegetarian spicy food lovers will enjoy this buffet. Maybe it’s not a place for pure vegetarians and definitely not for Jains. And actually, it’s not just about dietary preferences. A lot of non-vegetarian people also have seafood allergy, So this kind of ignorance and ill practises in the kitchen can be totally hazardous to...
