As a long Time customer, I give 3 Stars out of 5 Stars. The Motor Bar & Grill Restaurant used to be a pretty Good place to go.
10 Years later, it needs some improvement with the food, some of the employees who are rude, and some other things.
The food used to be really Good.
Today, the food is hit or miss.
For example the Chicken Wings used to be Good. Now they are hit or miss depending on who cooks them. Sometimes they are cooked. Sometimes they are raw. Sometimes they are half cooked.
It is the same thing with the Burgers.
The Barbecue used to be really Good.
The Barbecue sucks Today.
It is always dried out and burnt now.
Some of the employees like to lie and tell customers who have never had the barbecue that "It is Good and everybody likes it".
The Truth is that, that is a lie because there are people that they tell this to and the people try it for the first Time and they say that they don't like it and that it is dried out.
There were so many complaints about The Barbecue during Harley Davidson Motor Company's 120th Birthday Anniversary back in July 2023 this Year.
The Smoked Red Polish Sausage is the only thing that is Good on The Barbecue plate.
The Tacos for Taco Tuesdays suck.
You would be better off going to Magoo's On The Mound on 58th and Bluemound Road in Milwaukee or El Seriorial's on 31st and Burnham Street in Milwaukee.
Magoo's On The Mound is another Biker Bar and Restaurant.
Magoo's On The Mound is also where ABATE Of Wisconsin Region 1A Milwaukee County Motorcycle Rights Organization has their meetings at 7:00 P.M. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
I hate to say this but Magoo's On The Mound have way better Tacos on Tuesdays than The Motor Bar & Grill.
Tacos are also half of the price at Magoo's On The Mound than they are at The Motor Bar & Grill.
Also Magoo's On The Mound have Wing Wednesday specials there, where The Motor Bar & Grill don't.
Also Sprechler Root Beer at The Motor Bar & Grill is way too much. It is at least $ 5.00 per bottle of Sprechler Root Beer at The Motor Bar & Grill.
You can go to 3rd Space Brewing a couple of blocks away and you can but a bottle of Sprechler Root Beer for $ 2.50 per bottle or you can go to just about any local grocery store in Milwaukee, including Pick N' Save and you can buy a 4 pack of Sprechler Root Beer for 5.99 compared to $ 5.00 per bottle at The Motor Bar & Grill.
In fact most restaurants in Milwaukee that sell Sprechler Root Beer sell it for 2.50 per bottle, unlike The Motor Bar & Grill who sells it for 5.00 per bottle.
Remember it is a Harley Davidson themed restaurant and Harley Davidson always sells things for more than double the price of other places because you are paying for the name.
The bottom line is that this place used to be really Good. Now it needs some improvement.
There are plenty of other Motorcycle themed Bars and restaurants in Milwaukee County and around Wisconsin that are better, such as Sobelman's Original Bar & Grill on 19th and St. Paul which is a couple of blocks away from The Motor Bar & Grill.
Sobelman's is a real Biker Bar and Restaurant and it is owned by Dave & Melanie Sobelman who are Bikers and members Of ABATE Of Wisconsin Motorcycle Rights Organization.
Nick's Anvil In on 13th and Dakota in Milwaukee is also a Biker Bar that is owned by Chris Tribby who used to work for Harley Davidson Motor Company and he is a ABATE Of Wisconsin member. Nick's Anvil In in a Biker Friendly Bar.
The Bunker Bar is a U.S. Military Veteran owned Bar and Restaurant that is down in Burlington, Wisconsin. That is a real Biker Bar with real Good Food.
I will say that The Motor Bar & Grill has a really Good Fish Fry that is way better than most places.
Their Cajun Chicken Sandwich is really Good at The Motor Bar & Grill.
The stuffed Potatoes are Good at The Motor Bar & Grill.
Their Banana Cream In A Jar which is a dessert that the Motor Bar & Grill used to have but discontinued was really Good. They should bring that back.
I hope that this Honest review helps...
Read moreMy family and I have dined here many times, even hosting parties here pre covid, and we fell in love with this place. However, this past weekend we didn't have a great experience at all. The waitress we had was very rude to our out-of-town guess that she wasn't familiar with the rules of the restaurant and decided to yell at him about drinking a beverage that he brought along with him on their outside patio. Now I understand if you're going to a place that serves food and drinks you should bring your own and sit at the table. I would've explained that to the young man; however, he didn't bring it out until she asked him if he wanted to order, which he did order food. However, he stated that he didn't want a drink because he brought his own. She got distraught, saying that it was illegal and that he could go to jail or get a fine for that. I explain to her that he didn't know, but that definitely didn't have to be heard clear across the patio.
Not aware of the time, we only had 20 mins to order until close while she yelled at our guest. We ordered drinks, and by the time she came back, she informed us that we only had 5 mins to order. So she stood there while we looked at the menu and the customers at the neighboring table receipt flow in the air and imagined my surprise when she darted off running behind their receipt after telling us we only had 5 mins to order. Now granted, only 7 people were standing at their table that could have easily run after their receipt, lol. Now she has disappeared. After retrieving the receipt and a round of applause, we had only 2 mins to order.
The icing on the cake was when we asked the waitress for paper napkins; we were today that since it's 3 of us, she can give us 3 paper napkins, lol. Our bill was over $70, and we can only get 3 napkins; however, the suggested tip started at $15....
Read moreIf anyone is reading this comment, I want to suggest that don’t bring too many people here. The more people you have, the worse services you’ll get. The food was good, but the service they provided is a total disaster. We were in a big group a few weeks ago. They were only kind at the beginning; however, they became very impatient for some reason when they start to take our order. They even refused to give us a Sprite when one of us order it saying that they don’t have that drink. (They said they have Sprite, Cola, Lemonade, tea at the very beginning, and other people in our group at the next table actually get it. That’s why I said they refuse) The above behaviors are not enough to make me send a 1 star review. The worst thing happened to us was that the waitress brought the wrong meal to us, keep asking who ordered it. While we were still trying to find out and looking at each other, the waitress stare at everyone angrily and heavily put the meal on our table and leave as if we owe her something. I don’t know if she thought that we had given the tips to them so that she doesn’t need to work properly to earn the money or what. It’s the rudest waitress I’ve ever seen in my life. We were decided to come since the previous good experience we had a few more weeks before this one in a small group, so we want to share good things with more friends. Now, we would never go there again. Maybe this restaurant thinks that we give them too much money (or maybe they think we are the most stupid people to choose their restaurant since their meals are relatively more expensive than other restaurants) so they refuse to provide...
