JR Thai Food & Such — Restaurant in Minneapolis

This is my favorite food in the skyways, and one of the best Asian restaurants in the entire Twin Cities. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and welcoming, and always recognize me when I show up. My favorites are the curry friend rice, the Singapore noodles, the spicy sweet and sour chicken, and the sesame chicken. The consistency is fantastic - I've never been disappointed. I just had a long discussion with my boss about my favorite eateries and I convinced him we should food from here next time they buy lunch for the office. I love it so much. So many things here are so consistently amazing. Not everything, but that's fine by me because: Sesame Chicken? Unbelievable. The spicy pork & green beans? Stunning! Masman Curry? Off the charts! Basil fried rice? I'm fainting!

The portions for a 2 item + Fried Rice meal are enough that in the rare case I don't devour it all like a monster I'll have enough for lunch the next day.

I go here like twice a week sometimes...

Accidentally found this gem while going out for lunch. All the food that I ate was superb! I had Lomein, Pad Thai and Masaman curry with fried rice. In addition to the food being nice, the owner is super friendly and a helpful guy. If you are a big fan of Asian cuisine, this definitely is the right place for you. Will be going back again 😋...
