I placed an order today via the Burger King app. When I arrived at the restaurant, I alerted them through the app that I had arrived. I then went in and waited a few minutes before telling one of the counter workers (whose face mask was not covering her nose) that I was waiting for a mobile order. I gave her my name and order number.
She had no record of the order on her screen.
A man stepped in. He had disheveled gray hair that was long enough that it should’ve been contained, but it was not. Belligerently, he insisted that he had only one mobile order, and it wasn’t mine. I had been nothing but polite, so his attitude was shocking.
I pulled the order up in my app and showed it to him. He said, “I don’t care what the app says. I don’t have an order for you.” Calmly, I said, “OK, well, here’s the order, and it says it is for this location of this restaurant, so how can I get you to make it for me?”
He sneered at me, “You can go to the register, place the order, and pay for it. Then we’ll make it for you.”
I said, “But I’ve already paid for it. The receipt here says that.”
He raised his voice and said, “I already told you that I have only one mobile order, and it isn’t yours. If the money’s not in this store, we’re not making the order. If you want to take it up with customer service for the app, then go ahead!”
It was at this point that I asked for a manager and was dismayed to learn that this jerk actually is the manager. I said, “I have proof here that I ordered this from your store. and paid for it. What makes sense is for you to fulfill the order and then to contact customer service yourself to get the electronic part straightened out.”
“No.” he said. “They messed up your order. You call them.”
Wow. Just wow.
I left without my food and won’t be going back.
We’ve been to this location several times over the past year, and we’ve been kind of grossed out at how lax they’ve been about Covid precautions, but not enough to leave a negative review. But this...
Read moreOnce again, wrong order from drive thru. Order: 284192 Reg 4 DRIVE THRU, Employee: 11245 Name: Habib
I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO double and triple check their work. Otherwise, what are they needed for? I could easily go pick the food that I ordered. Thats all they have to do, they dont even have to MAKE the food. Its made, they just pick it and place it in a bag. And for this they want $15/hr? No way!!! They continually prove that they cant do the job that they are getting paid whatever for now! So why give them 30K a year - just because they're whining? SHOW US ALL that you can do the job, exceptionally, being 99.9% correct - because its not difficult to pick up the items that show up on the screen and put them into a bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered 3 (THREE) chicken fries, received TWO. Financial loss of $2.99 + tx. I ordered one large onion ring, received ZERO. Financial loss of $2.19 + tx. Total financial loss of $5.61.
And its ironic that there is never TOO MUCH food in the bag. Ever notice that? You never arrive at your destination and open the contents to find an extra burger or extra fries or large fries instead of small fries. The loss is ALWAYS the customer's loss, not the establishment's.
This is not the first time! How many $5+ dollar losses do you people think we customers can handle? And why should be just toss money out of the window? I could have threw 5 dollars and 61 cents out of the window on the way to the BK instead of ordering the food and not getting it. And then there is the issue of what to tell the folks you bought the food for? Sorry, incompetents at Burger King can not pick an order properly and have cost you your meal.
This has to stop. Well its going to from my end. No more Burger King. No more wasting my time and money. No more arriving at my destination 10 miles away to find out that the bag doesnt contain the...
Read moreAs I go here to the mint hill location everyday after work today was the worst visit yet.. I went to the drive thru at 2:40pm today I got the 2 original chicken sandwichs and 2 small fries for $4.99 from the coupon on the app. I received my order, as I’m driving down the road eating my sandwich and half way down the I see a hair sticking out of the chicken pressed patty itself. I looked at it and tried pulling it out of the sandwhich but it was pressed and cooked into the chicken patty itself and was stuck. After my loss of appetite I decided to go back for a refund, I go straight to the window and ask for the manager. As I have taken a photo of the hair in the sandwhich, I show him the hair itself in the sandwhich and his response was horrible, “you are just full huh?” I responded quickly to that and very upset for the way he was treating me as a customer I told him clearly that there was a hair in my sandwhich as he could see I was only trying to refund the food and go about my day. I didnt wanna get anyone in trouble, but he accused me of lying nor wanted to honor my request of a refund. He got irate and starting yelling, “get of here!” And told me I was just full and wanted a refund. I had only eaten half off my sandwich down enough to see the hair sticking out, I will definitely not being going back to this location not due to what was in the sandwhich but how the manager treated me as a customer. As a manager I would hope for someone understanding and put customers first and as he definitely was not. He is an unfit manager and very irate. I hope to see justice done for this location, until such I will not...
