very disappointed as of my last order, some orders have been so-so, but i let it go. my online for delivery order this past friday night may 7 was not even fair to have been delivered. a large pizza with double ham, triple mushrooms and extra cheese and an order of cheesy bread w/extra cheese, 26.50 plus i did tip the driver 7 dollars (who by the way deserved it, very respectful). the cheesy bread had a 3 inch section with absolutely NO CHEESE and the other cheese was hard/chewy on top, but forget the cheesy bread...the pizza had the same 3 inch section all the way around the outter crust going towards the center that had absolutely NOTHING BUT BREAD, there was no extra cheese and definitely no double ham and triple mushrooms, i honestly would have been upset if what i received was just regular toppings (no extra) because there was nothing there...a piece of ham here a mushroom over there..it was bad, something i chose not to overlook this time. the next morning (saturday may 8) i had my mom drop off the remainder of the pizza to marco's (i didn't even send the cheesy bread). i had printed off my emailed receipt that had my info on it and taped it to the bag. when my mom went in the store there were no patrons inside, just two female workers up front, my mom ask if there was a supervisor available, they both looked at each other and then one of them went to the back and then returned saying "he" will be up here in a minute...my mom handed the "male supervisor" the bag containing the pizza and very politely told him that we have purchased several pizzas from marco's and was just wondering if the quality of "this" pizza would be the quality we could expect in the future, she told the "supervisor" that her daughter (me) would like a response as soon as he had time...well as of today, may 11 at 930pm, i have had no response at all, oh yeah, except for my credit card being charged the 26.50. i never ask for a free coupon, a refund, a new freshly cooked "correct" pizza, i didn't ask for anything except a simple answer to "is this the quality to be expected from marco's in the future?". i have learned my lesson with this particular franchise as "no response" was an answer enough for me. thank you kindly for the times you did seem to care about the quality of your food.
UPDATE: it's been over a month since I contacted "the owner" as requested. I have not heard anything from the owner or the manager that I returned the pizza to the next morning. Just paid my credit card bill of $26.50 for the pizza dough with some sauce splattered on it that I received on May 7, this price doesn't include the 7 dollar tip to the driver, wasn't his fault. I have decided to be done with it now... Just hope "the owner" decides to care at some point or he/she won't have a business they have to worry about any longer. Hoping that everyone else in the future receives what they order and paid for and are most importantly šš

Original post: I reluctantly give this place a star. The manager at the Mint Hill store is an obnoxious jerk. Here's what happened.
For the second time in as many visits, they got my order wrong. The first time it happened, the manager on duty was cordial and apologetic. This last time, a different manager who is older, fatter, and clearly in need of customer service skills, did everything he could to blame it on me. However, I always have the order taker read my order back to me, no matter where I am ordering from.
When I left, my mood had been soured, all because of the manager. Pete I think is his name. Not only will I never eat there again, but I will talk about how terrible this place is with every opportunity I get. Thanks Pete, for a terrible experience.
Update: The owner, Andy, called me one day after I posted this review. He was polite and accommodating. He told me he would notate my account so that this problem would not happen again and that he would credit me with one free pizza.
So today I ordered that pizza. Same thing happened. They got my order incorrect AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
The manager on duty, Brandon tried to blame it on the girl taking the call saying that today was her first day. I don't believe him. I confirmed my order with the girl twice. Andy the owner said he would notate my account. Yet still, the same incorrect result. Brandon made me wait while they made another pizza and offered me nothing for my trouble.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I usually love Marcos and usually always go to this location. However, I was shocked to see an employee (young man in plain clothes) back where pizzas were prepped vaping. That was unprofessional to say the least. Then shortly after I confirmed my order was being prepared 4 younger individuals came out one girl was upset clearly and in the bushes alongside of the building looking for sometheing in the bushes. The boy who was vaping was following her helping look. It was apparent the girl was mad and 2 other young females who worked there followed her out and were in somewhat of a verbal dispute. It was just a lot going on only to get home and my daughter find the longest blonde hair on her cheese bread. Beyond gross. I wishI would have checked the food prior to leaving but it was in between so even if I had you wouldn't have spent it until we broke it apart. I did call but I realize they were busy(line was busy) as it was the weekend so I discarded the bread and just wont go back to this location. Management needs to be aware structure is needed when hiring young teenagers and hairnets should be mandatory the visors don't help apparently. And the vaping definitely should be band near...
