Bogie's Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Missouri City

I had the pleasure of visiting Bogies pub with my aon over the weekend, and this is my honest and true experience. Parking there is great, the parking is free and there are always plenty of spaces for you to park. Upon entering Bogies, the place is very big, and they also have an outside patio. I sat at the table inside of the restaurant , however, I placed my food and drink orders at the bar. When heading to the bar, the bartenders were very nice, and I did not have to wait to get my order taken. My order was taken by Chris. I ordered wings ( lemon pepper hot and regular). I also ordered okra, fries, and some drinks, and this bill is $48.00 .. 5 mins after I placed this order, I went back to Chris to order the seafood special where you get 2 pounds of crawfish for 19.99 and 1 cluster of snowcrabs for 12.99 . My bill total came to about $37 for the seafood order. My first order came out at about 20 minutes, which was pretty decent , although I walked to the bar to inquire about and pick up my food to bring it back to the table. While eating a waiter came by, I didn't catch her name but she was very nice (she was not on the floor originally) she asked me and my guest if we needed anything and at the moment I was okay. After half way finishing my drink and down to 2 pieces of chicken ,the waiter came by again (30 mins later) to check on us, and my son brought it to my attention that he never received his seafood. So I advised the waiter on the floor of this, and she was so kind to check on it . While checking and i was looking at the bar, it seemed to be as if she was trying to figure out what happened with my order. So, I walked up to the bar to speak with Chris to inquire about the seafood order. Chris started looking around, and then he came back to me, advising that he didn't think he charged me for my seafood order. That made me upset, honestly. But I advised Chris that he indeed charged me, and I had to show the pending transaction on my bank statement because I never got a receipt ( usually they don't provide this until after you close out) from him. So, at this point, I realize they never started my seafood order, and the waiter from the floor apologized to me and refunded me my money back. However, the first refund was for the crab. I had to advise that I never received the crab or crawfish. She then proceeded to refund the entire seafood order. I don't blame her for what happened because the entire time, she seemed disgusted with the fact that it even happened. Tasting of drinks: I had titos and pineapple, and it was okay. It was not watery but a shot is a shot.

Tasting of food: The wings were cool if you liked them fried hard. I give them a 6/10. they taste like regular wings, nothing fancy, really. The okra was really good. I give a 9/10 and the fries were fries, nothing special either.

Visited twice and will never be back. This place is beyond shady to say the least. Both nights i had a good time, met some people, sat at the bar, service was good, company was good.

Checked my credit card statement 2 weeks after my first visit and noticed i was charged $163. My tab was $53 and i left $10 tip as a solo bar guest. I revisited to talk with management about the overcharge and waited at the bar 1 hour before any info was gathered.

I was shown my signed receipts to confirm my signature. When i was shown the overcharged receipt, there was a noticeable difference with the numbers i had wrote down. Someone (wonder who?) wrote in an extra "1" in front of the $10 tip and the overall total. Making it a $110 tip and $163 total.

Anyone in their right mind could clearly see the additions of the extra "1s" was not my handwriting and the manager on duty did not argue with that. I was told to allow 24 hours for investigation and left my phone number.

They called back the next day and said they found out what happened.

Management explained that another guest had thought it was funny to take some random guys receipt and write in the extra numbers as a joke. They said it was on video, they would talk with that guest and that i could come get my $100 that evening.

Overall i dont believe that story. Management handled getting my money returned just fine but not offering footage and chuckling when i mentioned ide like to see it tells me the character of this bar is of the lowest standards. I was served by 2 bartenders, tall older guy (forgot his name) with a beard and a blonde chick named Madison.

Check your card statements from this place. Bartender actions were shady. Management story was shady. I recommend NOT coming to this bar. Thought this might help someone in the...
