No one knows how to add a d subtract. If my total is 21.18 and I add a 3.82 tip, my total now should be $25. So, whenever I look at the receipt and it shows a five dollar tip I get inquisitive because I know math. The manager comes, no apologies, adjusts the ticket to 25.05. I am not a petty person, but at this point it's the principle of the matter now. Hey, what's up with your math? Now I am short five cents. The manager now goes to adjust the ticket. No, he brings me five cents. Now what am I to do with five cents? Don't get me wrong, the service was excellent and the people were friendly. The reality is that this is a service. And if the billing is not accurate there are other places to go. This is a grift and a scam in my book. Avoid this location. Watch your receipts or pay with cash. Food was very good. I could not finish it all. My egg and hash browns were delicious. Having not eaten pancakes in about two years this was a good reminder of what a slice of heaven is like. But because of the lack of attention to detail or the intentional cheat (somewhere in that range), find another location. I am sure the same recipe is found elsewhere where you won't get grifted. No follow-up on this one after responding to the link. Customer service is dead here.

This is by far the worst iHop I’ve ever been too. It took an hour and 45 minutes for me to get my online order. On top of that. I watch a family of 4 come in after I came in during my pick up time. Sit down, get served, ate and left all while I’m waiting on a pancake and French toast combo. With scrambled eggs and hash browns. Nothing but a meal for two. I ordered cheesecake pancakes and from the photos you can see NO cheesecake! I’ve called about a refund and NOTHING. Or even an attempt to remake my meal. Which was placed online ahead of time before making the drive there. Manager could care less about my wait and the fact I’ve been waiting for that length of time. No reason why it’s took this long but only said everything is an hour long when the employees said it wasn’t and we witnessed ppl coming and going. This isn’t the crews fault but the leadership didn’t give the team proper information and don’t know how to deal with customers. Poor customer service and I’ll never support this location again. Not to mention food was cold, and I was still missing items from my meal! Thanks a lot for the wasted 2 plus hours of travel and waiting. Along with the inconvenience and inconsiderate manager.

My grandson and I visited this location around 10:00 am. There was no one at the front to seat guest. Two waitresses walked up and only waited on the man who entered last and took his to go order. After a 15 minute wait we were finally seated and another 10 minutes for the waitress, who obviously didn’t like her job, to take our order. When the food finally arrived it was very unappetizing. I made the mistake of ordering the Eggs Benedict which should have an over easy egg on each half of the English muffin but mine were obviously soft boiled. Had it not been my grandson’s 12th birthday and we were so hungry I would have left. She had the nerve to attempt to authorize a 20% tip. She did ask once how we were as she continued to walk pass without waiting for an answer. Every IHOP I’ve ever visited has had lousy service with disgruntled employees and mediocre food. My grandson asked to come here for his birthday otherwise I would not eat here. Even he with his young palate commented as we were driving away that the food wasn’t very good. My first visit to any IHOP since 1996 and I will never return

This location has consistently demonstrated the poorest customer service I’ve experienced at any IHOP. On two separate occasions, I’ve visited and encountered unacceptable wait times to be seated—both instances marked by a complete lack of acknowledgment or basic courtesy from the host staff.

During my first visit, we waited over 30 minutes in an overcrowded and cramped lobby without a single greeting or update from the host. Eventually, we—and several other waiting parties—left due to the lack of attention.

During today’s visit, four parties, including mine, were waiting to be seated. The host seated the first two parties and then disappeared without addressing the remaining guests. No explanation or acknowledgment was offered. Over the next 20 minutes, another employee briefly entered to seat one party and distribute pickup orders, only to leave again without assisting the rest of us. Eventually, an individual who appeared to be a manager—based on his attire—came out and seated the remaining parties in the correct order.

Unfortunately, the poor service did not stop there. After being seated, we waited an additional 10 minutes, during which a waitress approached our table only to divert and assist a customer who had arrived after us. At that point, we chose to leave and dine elsewhere. We went to the Denny’s down the road, which, despite being busier and more understaffed, greeted us promptly, seated us within minutes, and provided attentive service.

To be clear, this IHOP location was not overly busy—there were fewer than 15 parties dining in total—yet the lack of training, communication, and professionalism was glaring. First couple of visits to this location had a few hiccups but i decided to give them another try. Service was slow previously so I ordered online & prepaid in advance this time. Arrived 25 mins after placing the order & waited 5 mins to speak to someone. The guy at the counter with dark long hair (that finger combs his hair while talking to you) went to check then comes back to ask me what i ordered. I tell him & he disappears for awhile again only to come back & say its not ready. While i wait i watch several upset customers complain that they received the wrong orders or that they have been waiting over an hour. The guy's response was that he is new here. The girl at the desk didnt respond at all. At one point a customer asked how much longer on his to-go order & the guy responded "I dont know how long it takes to make French toast". After another 15 mins i ask to check on my order. The guy pulls out a sheet of paper & says "all of these are to go orders we are backed up". At this point i ask for a refund. The 2 at the counter said they cant do a refund so i ask for a manager. Manager Laura comes & I explain the issue. She looks in her system & says "you want the 12.73 refunded? Then i need to see your confirmation email". I explain that i have ID & credit card but didnt have my cell phone. She says she needs the email. I get upset at this point & magically she picks up a stack of receipts on the counter & the top receipt is my order with the confirmation # she needed..she then takes a sliver of paper & a permanent marker & writes down my info & tells me she has to do the refund tonight. Since i ordered online the refund has to be done in another system. So after an hour +, I left IHOP with just Laura's word that she would process a refund tonight & an empty stomach. I...

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I'm leaving this review after several failed attempts to contact management. I went to this ihop on late Sunday morning and myself along with 3 other parties stood at the door and waited to be greeted & seated. There were 2 hostesses at the front, 1 was on the phone and the other was standing nearby talking to a waitress. Neither of them acknowledged us. Finally the lady in the other party said " I guess we are invisible and they walked out." The hostess that was not on the phone then said, "we'll be right with you" but continued her convo. Another 3 mins or so pass and we are listening to the waitresses argue back and forth about who is taking what table. Another party left and I should have followed my 1st mind and left too but my kids really wanted to eat there. Finally started after a 15 min wait. The waitress comes over and seems a bit annoyed but takes out order. She isn't rude but isn't friendly either. Food took over 30 mins to come out even though there are not very many ppl inside the restaurant. We eat, get a box for left overs and I ask for the check. The bill was $25.18. I give the waitress $100.18, she brings me back $73. I said, this change isn't right. She walked off. She passed by my table again and I ask for a printed receipt (cause I know I'm not tripping) she takes about 15 mins to finally bring it back. I ask another waitress for the manager she says okay and walks to the back, but doesn't return. I took the $10 tip of the table put it back in my purse and leave. Since she shorted me and refused to make it right, I let her keep the $2 tip and took back what I was going to give for her mediocre service. I'll just stick to the ihop in Pearland.
