I wanted to take the time to thank the Sienna Whataburger for their outstanding professionalism, overwhelming customer support and love for their customers. Yesterday, I was in the drive through line with my dog and had just pulled up to thank God the B line instead of the A line in the drive through and I thought my car was overheating so I turned it off and it wouldn't start back up. The entire team lead by I believe the Manager Nola was incredible. Of course, anyone can first only imagine how embarassing it was to be stalled in the drive through line holding up traffic and this team lead by a very caring manager took care of me, even when I was about to break down in tears. They offered my dog water, me a shake and even tried to help jump my car. I was completely beside myself at how much each and everyone of those employees tried to calm me down and help me get out of my difficult situation. I am also in the customer service business and I think it is very important to acknowledge those employees that go over and beyond their work duties. I was going to take them balloons and a huge sign that said Thank You with cookies, but wanted to call corporate and let them know what an great job they have done with hiring some dedicated employees to this Whataburger restaurant. As I told the woman on customer service line, my family loves Whataburger and when my children went to school at Ole Miss they would love crossing that Texas border and seeing the big W and know they were almost home. Thank you Whataburger Sienna, I don't know what I would have done without all of you getting me through my crazy morning yesterday. Whataburger is blessed to have all of you on their staff. Thank you too Nola, and I hope I spelled your name correctly and that you were the correct manager on duty yesterday morning on the 15th. You were like an angel that got me through the heat and the issue with my car. I am forever grateful for your...
Read moreI waited behind a lady that took 10 minutes to order her sandwich, because she wanted to use her coupon for a free Whataburger. However, the gal taking her order was still fairly new and wasn't quite sure how to ring up with the lady he was asking. Come to find out, the lady was trying to order a whataburger so she could use her coupon-- but was trying to switch it to essentially a chicken strip sandwich which costs more. So 3 people tried to come help her with her order--she wanted it made like s Whataburger with all the reg toppings, not the chicken strip sandwich toppings and she wanted it for free because she had a coupon. The manager tried to explain to her that chicken costs more and that isn't how the coupon works... she said "so-and-so does it for me all the time".. etc. Long story short, I waited over 10 minutes to order Diet Coke and water. I thought for sure the manager would give me my Diet Coke for free because of waiting for a ridiculous amount of time behind a ridiculous lady ordering a ridiculous order, but no..I still had to pay full price. I come in this WB all the time just to get Diet Coke and sometimes, depending on the time of day, they will give me my drink for free because I'm in there every day. Today, the manager just said 'thanks for waiting' and rang me up full price. I just feel like this was the one time they could have gone that little extra step above, because I always offer to pay , but waiting behind such a crazy situation should have been given a little bit of extra appreciation. That, or have a 2nd register available when someone is taking that long to order. Now that McD's charges same price for drinks as WB and CFA, this is the convenient place to get afternoon caffeine, en route to kid pick-up, but it just sometimes leaves me with a little sadness of not quite as good as...
Read moreLess than stellar breakfast visit today. Taquito run gone bad. Wife and I hit the drive through around 9am with a handful of cars in front of us. It took almost four tries at the order speaker to get across what we wanted, granted we were not doing a cookie cutter order and it took the person a bit to get it down. No meals, some taquitos with cheese some with out, a bob and cinnamon roll. The read back was on point so we thought we were in the clear. Paid and get to the window only for the attendant to offer us the wrong order. She goes back for a few minutes then confirms our order again, this is where my wife and i start betting on odds of our order being correct. Meanwhile the car in front of us has already pulled forward, after what felt like an eternity in a drive through, we were also asked to pull forward. While sitting behind the other car, I noticed the first car that was ahead of the car in front of us had pulled back up taking their incorrect order back in. Several cars behind us got their orders and pulled around us and left. The nice young lady finally comes to our window with what was to be our order. Repeated the order correctly. (no we did not pull over and check it for accuracy) we pull around the person that has been in front of us the whole time, as they were still waiting on whatever they had ordered. Head home only to find my wife's taquitos were just egg and missing the cheese. also, eight items and 3 salsa packs. P.S. we both agreed the odds were 80/20 and we nailed it. Every drivethru establishment needs to take lessons from Chick-fil-A, Rarely if ever have mistakes and they can run cars through there faster than willie nelson goes through...
