I really don’t like to do this but this time it was a complete disrespect from the server to us as customers . this is not about the restaurant or the food, the food was okay (not the cocktails, they are horrible we barely drink it… not flavor, no good taste) Okay so… While my girlfriend was eating, she left her temporary license on the table (which is made of paper), when our waiter picked up the plates and after a few minutes we noticed the license was not there... we wait for our service since he was never around and we even had to ask him to go check the kitchen to see if it was on the plates or somewhere else, when he came back he said no. This is where things get weird… My girlfriend didn't even move from the table, there was no way such an important document could be lost like it was nothing, according to the server he checked everything and it wasn't in the trash or on the plates, until my girlfriend's friend got really mad and told the server that she wanted to talk to the manager, but the waiter didn't wanted to call the manager, why not?
Our friend (which it was also her birthday) told the server that she wanted to go with him to look for it in the kitchen, and guess what happened when she came back? She found the license inside the trash, which was literally visible to anyone, also the waiter was trying to stop her from looking in the trash, he was trying to distract her by showing her other dishes that weren't ours, the dishes had wings and we didn't order wings… When the server came back the only thing he said was “she found it.” "He didn't even apologize, he didn't show any interest in helping us, we asked for the bills, we paid and left, honestly it was a bad act, with bad intentions, sometimes things happens but this was too much… he knew that the license was there. I was completely upset, and I still tip him because I also work as a server, even though the service was not good either, I do not plan to come back to this restaurant, to work in customer service they should have people who really want to provide...
Read moreWe came in based on a recommendation from the owners of our Jeep rental place. We were seated right but told the server would take a little while to get our orders because she was slammed. It did take a while for the server ti come over but hostess did bring us water right away. And it gave us plenty of time to check out the menu. When the server came over she did apologize and told us they had a new computer system they were all trying to get used to. She was very nice and we appreciated the explanation. She then took our drink and meal orders.
I had a Blue Margarita. It was really good.
Two of us ordered the homemade meatloaf. It was good. The blue cheese crumbles weren’t in abundance but added a nice flavor. The serving size was large. There were sautéed vegetables that came with it that were cooked perfectly. There was also a warm roll that was served with butter that was very tasty.
Two others in our group had the chicken Parmesan. It was served over pasta in an Alfredo sauce. One said it was excellent and the other said he would have preferred the chicken to be a bit crispier. But there was definitely nothing left on the plate.
My daughter had the grilled chicken with chimichurri sauce. The menu said it was spicy and my daughter felt that it definitely was but she also doesn’t do super spicy food so others may not find it that spicy.
We all enjoyed our meals. And our server did a great job checking on us. She was friendly.
The place could get pretty loud based on how it is set up with really high ceilings in one area. We were at a table in the middle of the room and it was comfortable. I would...
Read moreGiven the reviews, we were shocked at the food we were served. All three of us left 90% of the food on our plates.
We started with the artichoke dip which was a bowl of melted cream cheese with exactly one piece of artichoke and stale, previously frozen pita.
One friend ordered the smoked salmon salad and the salad truly looked as those it had been recycled from someone else's leftovers. The lettuce was brown, the salmon was dumped out of a can and the capers were so old, they were grey and without flavor.
My other friend ordered the chicken wings and they were so small and looked like they were the discards.
I ordered the shrimp fajitas which came with rice and beans. The beans were not refried beans but 30 pinto beans dumped out of a can. The shrimp were the size of nickle. It was a really sad plate of things thrown together.
As one of the most highly rated restaurants in Moab, we were really looking forward to this meal and unfortunately left hungry. We went on a Friday night too.
Additionally the public bathrooms are essentially in the kitchen and there is a fan above the kitchen blowing out over the tables and visible from the seating area - the fan is disgusting and caked in brown gunk, likely blowing grease air out over the tables.
We had high hopes but were unfortunately disgusted by the food, the environment and the server who said all of two words to us. Perhaps we came on an off night, but I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was a really...
