This is one of the best most authentic genuine friendly delicious Thai restaurants in Utah. Trust me I’m Thai! Rule of thumb...if staff is not Thai; Run Run very far away! Don’t go to any place that has Vietnamese or Laos or Chinese staff as this is not real Thai food.
Jee Owa (server) is the most friendly person I have met in quite some time. Our families are both from the Udon Province of Thailand and she made our dishes just like Momma use to do!
They are able to accommodate vegan and vegetarian lifestyles as well as all of you omnivores and carnivores out there.
The food is downright authentic delicious melts in your mouth and it’s real food not none of this processed garbage.
My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time as we were the only ones in there and the atmosphere and the ambience was just right in the smells reminded me of being home with my mom cooking dinner for us kids.
You can’t go wrong with the laab however they didn’t have enough beef on hand to cook my favorite dish Nam Tok.
My girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her coconut green curry and everyone must get sticky rice as a side dish and also if you really want to be authentic why don’t you use your hands to use the sticky rice and dip it into your entrée and eat and mange mange away!
You are mistaken if you go to any other Thai restaurant in Moab as it is likely American Thai and not as authentic as Singha, do yourself a favor it’s right off of Center Street seriously a block off of Center Street in downtown Moab and it will not disappoint.
I thoroughly endorse this restaurant I’m not paid for this advertisement I can’t wait wait to go back to Moab to enjoy more food at Singha! My mouth is watering just thinking about it I can’t wait for next spring.
Thank you for the best time and best meal ever in Moab all other restaurants in Moab or put the shame by your ability to produce the best smells and best tastes representing our mother nation...
Read moreI have sensitive Celiac&traveling can be grueling without hours of research ahead of time. I came into Moab after driving for almost 12 hours in desperate need for something other than a bunless burger&craving one of my favorite Curry comfort dishes. I found this place thanks to the findmeglutenfree app&walked in their door only 30 minutes before closing. They knew immediately what Celiac was&let me tell you- the insecurities that we get wondering if people understand what havoc an invisible amount can have on our bodies for months- eating out becomes downright dangerous! Despite the fact they had just cleaned their last table they gladly offered me one! I was very grateful but a room with a bed had my name on it so I ordered to go. I told the lady who served me that I hadn't even really looked at the menu after I saw their Yellow Curry&if they could do that over white rice with any kind of meat in it 'gluten free' I would be elated. It was EXACTLY like the curried dish my mom has made since I was a kid- and the amount of food they sent a very grateful me out the door with was enough for at least two if not three adults&thanks to the fridge in my room I'll have breakfast&lunch for the road tomorrow! My uvula starts to itch&tickle when I put anything higher than 15ppm in my mouth; some 'gluten free' foods I can't do&it passed my 1 minute test, my 5 minute test&now...it's been long enough I know that it was as safe as my own kitchen. I can't say anything about ordering things straight off the menu&just trying it, but I can say- if you let this amazing family know- you will have not only a delicious meal, but you won't pay for it later...
Read moreI have never encountered such rude and incompetent service at a restaurant. My friends and I each ordered our own dishes—there were no shared plates at all. After dining, we requested separate checks, which is a perfectly reasonable and standard request. We even handed over our credit cards in order.
To our surprise, the waiter split the bill into four equal parts instead of processing the charges as we asked. When we pointed out the mistake and requested it be fixed, the waiter refused to take responsibility, blaming us instead, even though it was clear they did not follow our instructions.
To make matters worse, despite this poor service, we were forced to pay a mandatory 20% tip. I seriously question the justification for such a policy, especially given the unprofessional and inattentive service we received.
On top of everything, one of my friends ended up with an upset stomach and diarrhea shortly after eating there, which raises serious concerns about the quality and safety of the food.
The restaurant was also severely understaffed, with very few servers who clearly could not handle the crowd properly.
I have already reported this issue to my credit card company and disputed the charge, as I cannot recognize this transaction. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for decent service, fairness,...
