Worth the hype!
We're from out of town and we're look expensive place to eat when we stumble upon this food truck thanks to Google reviews. Whenever we're traveling to an area we're not familiar with we tend to lean on Google Reviews to help us make a decision. In this case we kept coming back to this Quesadilla Mobilla place that had a high rating and only one $ sign so we figured what the heck.
We're glad that we gave this food truck a chance because it was delicious! The staff was very friendly and the quesadillas were incredible. The sauces they give you to dip them in we're also delicious.
The only negatives that I have keeping me from getting to five stars on this one were that since it's a food truck you're outdoors at some wrought iron tables and chairs. It's a nice outdoors location but also comes with inherent negatives. You're right next to it busy intersection so it can get a little on the loudside plus the sun can be a nuisance depending on time of day. You're susceptible to the elements plus there's no bathroom. In addition the day that we went there they actually ran out of chicken which was unfortunate because my wife had her eye on one of their chicken quesadillas.
Also, it took a surprising amount of time for us to get our food. After all, we're just talking about quesadillas here so the preparation process shouldn't take as long as it did. For what you pay they should have the staff to be able to crank these things out in a couple of minutes.
Lastly in the negative category, the prices were actually a little bit on the high side for something as simple as a quesadilla. I think that Google plays with two $$ signs since other local restaurants have similar prices and get two $$ signs. I don't know if people's perception of the pricing is different because it's a food truck and not an actual walk-in restaurant but the prices are more in line with places you see that normally get two $$ signs. Realistically common $10 is pretty high for a quesadilla in 2019 in Moab Utah.
Those negatives aside the food was and both of us got full off of our portion. I recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for a...
Read moreQuesadilla Mobilla is a hidden gem that has taken my taste buds on a thrilling adventure. I recently indulged in the Enchanted Chicken quesadilla, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of magical.
Packed with generous portions of green chile chicken, corn, refried beans, onions, and red bell peppers, the Enchanted Chicken quesadilla was a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. The combination was not only authentic but also incredibly delicious. What astonished me even more was the price – a mere $9 for a quesadilla that I couldn't even finish due to its generous size. Quesadilla Mobilla clearly understands the art of balancing quantity and quality, providing a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.
In a country with a myriad of quesadilla options, Quesadilla Mobilla stands out as a true champion. The authenticity of the ingredients and the expert craftsmanship in every bite make it, in my opinion, the best tasting quesadilla in all of America.
And pay for the Extra sauces, it is worth it!
In summary, Quesadilla Mobilla offers a genuine and mouthwatering experience at an incredibly reasonable price. If you're craving an authentic and hearty quesadilla that will leave you both satisfied and astonished, look no further. Quesadilla Mobilla is a culinary gem that deserves to be on every food enthusiast's...
Read moreThis food truck is absolutely amazing. As the name might suggest, they only serve quesadillas. They have a good list of different types you can get; different meat and additions, along with red and green hot sauce, chipotle sour cream and regular sour cream. The portions are quite generous. I usually can eat a lot, and I was left full and satisfied after eating my entire quesadilla. The only thing that wasn't as great were the chips and guac - they were fine, just not fantastic. The chips come in a bag (they aren't made there), and the guac came in a condiment size container. It wasn't a lot of guac, certainly not enough for the whole bag of chips in my opinion, and it tasted suspiciously like wholly guacamole (grocery store premade brand). Like I said, not terrible or anything, just not remarkable. I highly recommend going here for a great quesadilla though! And make sure to try both sauces and sour creams. There is a small seating area with tables and chairs next to the food truck. It was easy to snag a table for four of us, but if the seating area is full, there is also a much bigger "food truck courtyard" right next to it where you'll surely find a place to sit. The wait time for receiving the food was pretty quick, and they have a small speaker/PA to announce your name when your...
